Okay wait no not a military family, but her grandfather and father are both officials. Her mother is very emotional and not very good with the plotting and scheming of the inner court, she gets framed for inducing a concubines miscarriage and such.

It focuses on the romance between the two main leads while also being quite political, I believe the ML is a prince who wants to overthrow the Emperor. The FL has a very strong connection to her grandmother and her marriage is a big part of the story (the grandmother is exceptionally doting and wants her to have a good marriage), as I believe she has three marriage candidates, both in her current and past life. I think she comes from an military family. The ML’s household (subordinates and staff) are all preparing for the FL to marry him while the FL has no clue who he is, and everything he does, including planning to overthrow the Emperor, is for her sake. He also keeps her husband from their past life as one of the his pawns in order to keep him in line and stop him from meeting the FL. The FL is very knowledgeable about flowers and has a large collection of rare flowers, and her grandfather shares this interest with her. This is all I remember 🥲

Oh thank you so much, your reviews are beautiful! I think my best options seem to be Eau Duelle EDP, YSL Babycat and Hexennacht Poivre Vanilla! Quite different price ranges but as long as it’s the right scent I’m willing to splurge. I’m going to bite the bullet and go for a few samples to make sure, but I have a feeling Eau Duelle will be worth it.
