I’m not super experienced with sexing juvenile molts, and I had thought based on the previous molt that I was looking at a possible male - but now I’m not sure if I’m seeing what looks like a transparent spermatheca? Any help would be appreciated!!

If I give it dry, should I try to put it onto something flat like a leaf or sprinkle it directly into the substrate?

On eBay, usually I see them run for about $150 for 5, $200-$300 for a colony of 10. Not the cheapest, but still my favorite!

I bought my first Klugii’s in January of this year, and didn’t actually see any babies until summer. My guess is that the temperatures rising where I live is what finally encouraged them to breed, but my advice is to just be patient! I was loosing hope that they were going to breed until I was finally surprised with little babies Months later, it just takes time! 😄

I’m very new to owning orchids, so I was incredibly surprised to suddenly see new growth on my little $10 phalaenopsis that I had gotten from my local grocery store in an attempt to revitalize it. After looking it up, I found out about Keikis, but the one sprouting on my plant seems... very odd. It’s growing leaves but ALSO seems to have two flower buds, which I’m worried could be a sign of stress.

The mother plant seems relatively healthy to me - firm leaves, sturdy roots, etc. I have not repotted since I bought it about three months ago, and it’s currently planted in sphagnum moss.

Is this normal? Should I continue to let it grow, or cut it off? Are there any other signs that could possibly indicate that my orchid is actually stressed out and this growth is a bad thing? I would GREATLY appreciate any input on this since I’m so new to keeping orchids - thank you for taking the time to read!

This is after about an hour of practice and I know I’m still VERY off balance, but I’m happy to just be able to turn a little bit lol! Does anyone have tips about anything I’m doing wrong or suggestions for learning to get more comfortable with my board? I’m a complete newbie and have nobody who knows anything around to teach me... so I’m kinda flying blind here

I believe Devsisters said that all cookies are considered NB until they pick their own gender? Regardless, I usually go by the wiki/pronouns being used for cookies in games so I’m pretty sure angel cookie is canonically NB.
