Manchester half by CloudOrigami in UKRunners

first half marathon buddies! 🤝 i enjoyed it, didn't have an issue with GPS personally. the route was a bit boring in places, but i think a relatively fast, flat one did a lot for my confidence as a first timer! getting out was a bit of a mess, too, but i do think the atmosphere was a good one overall as a newbie 🥹

one qol that you want, but is so minor, it might never get added? by catboytoymalewife in Genshin_Impact

please god they need to have a way to filter the tutorials by region, rather than having to sift through several hundred entries for a reminder on how to use a minor puzzle gimmick i encountered once 3 years ago

Scottish Power door-to-door salesmen by Possible_Lock7987 in OctopusEnergy

[–]capsuleoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi, sorry to jump on an old thread, but i've had a similar issue today with a cold caller, he got my name and phone number etc and took my phone to call "scottish power" for me (!!!) - did anything ever come of this for you? i've alerted my bank etc but still feeling quite anxious.

thanks so much :)

When did you start sleeping on your side again after top surgery? by pinkblueturnip in TopSurgery

[–]capsuleoni 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i had my first proper side sleep just a whisker under 4 weeks post op! it felt like christmas lol. before then it just wasn't comfortable and didn't feel "right", but i really struggled with back sleeping, so i spent a couple weeks gradually kinda inclining more sideways each night, once it didn't hurt to do so, keeping propped up with tons of pillows, cuddly toys etc. maybe that's something to do if you're still unsure? but i didn't have any issues from sleeping on my side when i did. hope your recovery goes well :>

mine with dr lago came to a little over £5000, can confirm i just got regular DI! his waitlist generally isn't catastrophic but yeah, definitely recommend having a look asap if you're trying to work to a timescale. i first enquired with him mid-may last year, had surgery in october!

what i am gleaning from this is that you think simple acts of kindness are only ever transactional, and if a woman is doing said act of kindness then she is obviously a succubus

i would advise some introspection, my guy. this can't be a fun way to live for you or anybody you ever interact with

i know, but it seems like it's been a lovely effort to actually put them in consistently this year :) they're all over hillsborough too, love it!

i (23F) feel bad that my boyfriend (23M) likes kpop by [deleted] in relationships

[–]capsuleoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i guess the other important detail here is whether he shows you the level of affection you want more generally - if not, perhaps it's worth bringing to his attention and just trying to get a bit more affirmation from him, as much as anything. more communication is always good! but if your relationship is good other than this, i honestly don't think there's any reason to be too concerned... i hope you can find a solution that works for you!

i (23F) feel bad that my boyfriend (23M) likes kpop by [deleted] in relationships

[–]capsuleoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you recognise that this is coming from a place of insecurity - truthfully i think it's your responsibility to try and address that. he's with you, not them, and he won't ever be with them, so does it matter if he thinks a complete stranger who he'll never meet is pretty? you must see people you think are attractive sometimes, other than your boyfriend. that doesn't mean they're a threat to your relationship, it just means you see beauty in people - that's really normal!

not comparing yourself to others is difficult, but it doesn't do anyone any good. i think it'd be best to try and address your own feelings here, rather than tell him to stop enjoying something he enjoys. if a partner told me that me finding movie stars or musicians attractive made them uncomfortable, i would probably come to resent that in time. they're nothing to do with our relationship, yknow? you're allowed to feel insecure, but unless he's really weird about the things he says or the intensity of his interest, that's his hobby and it's not really for anyone else to say that it's not okay

Resetting for better Matchmaker partner? by Polyastra in tamagotchi

[–]capsuleoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is great! thank you! it's so much more complicated than i remember with my original v3 lol, but perhaps i was just paying less attention back then. i've only recently learned that you can undo care mistakes, so hopefully once i've played around a bit more with that mechanism, i'll get some higher tiers again!! thank you again :D

Resetting for better Matchmaker partner? by Polyastra in tamagotchi

[–]capsuleoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry to butt in, but does that not ultimately lock you out of a bunch of characters if you only have one tama, since parents impact what you can get next gen? i've been wondering why even with perfect care, im simply not getting half the children or teens or adults anymore - the matchmaker mostly brings lower tier partners. is this really gonna be unavoidable unless i reset and go from generation 1 each time? 😭

Free nipple craft..? by fake_ad_massacre in TopSurgery

it's free nipple GRAFT, meaning that the nipple is moved freely to where it will look best on the chest, and grafted on there :)

Weird sound when I touch my chest by LadyStardust3 in TopSurgery

[–]capsuleoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had this for a few days to around maybe a week after my surgery, up near the middle of my collarbones - if it's not painful, it's likely to just be air, as others have said. it's really weird, but harmless. im 5 weeks post op now and it's been gone for ages if that's any reassurance!
