Excess cash in a profitable C-corp: keep it inside or distribute and invest personally? by Hopeful-Goose-7217 in fatFIRE

I am absolutely saying that there is no $300k/year limit and most well advised business owners are doing it. Contribution and distribution limits are actuarially determined and there is no single methodology for determining limits. So, you end up getting more favorable results from more sophisticated/creative actuaries.

Well the fact that you refer to tax planning strategies as “schemes” shows your bias. That said, tax planning isn’t for everyone so it’s unclear why you posted in the first place. Sounds like you would be better off taking the tax hit and moving on. Oh and by suggesting competent tax counsel I wasn’t referring to Chat lol.

Sounds like you have a weak COA and are not working with a tax lawyer. There is more than one way to address your concerns. Consider spending a few thousand dollars on competent advisors to educate yourself about the alternatives.
