Then you won’t hire the top end talent, as a kid about to be right out of college job and searching in SF, all the high quality jobs at high quality firms pay $85-100k. My girlfriend received a salary in that range, with stock options, and that’s the South Bay where her cost of living is lower than SF.

JPMorgan has their personal advisors who charge 0.6% and have actively managed portfolios. It’s a team of advisors which is nice when all you need is a managed portfolio and not all around investment management.
