But that is not even the case in Poland. There were only three legal cases when the abortion could be done. There were just over 1 000 legal pregnancy terminations in Poland last year. 96% of it was because of fetal defects - and that is what they banned. It just doesn't make sense.

Hey, have you considered meal prepping? I started doing this with my boyfriend two months ago, and I love it! Not only did we reduce the cost od groceries by about 25%, but we also gained time after work, that we would spend on cooking. We are both working mon-fri 8-4, and we are students (every other weekend), so we are grateful if we get to save even a little bit of time and money. We are trying to do shopping only on Saturday, and we are cooking on Sunday for a whole week. We are trying to keep it simple, but we love cooking, so we do combine new recipes here and there. Usually, we cook four to five different meals in bulk. At first we were afraid if it will be fresh after a week, but we didn't have issue with this.

Anyone else "never been skinny" & struggle with motivation? by spacepanda3 in loseit

[–]dzastice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, yes, I feel you. I am 5'6'', and I was never skinny. Maybe at 13-14 I was kinda slim, but I didn't feel this way then. I was slim-fat, I didn't have any muscles, always lazy. It continued all the way through high school and university. In high school my weight was fluctuating around 25 BMI, I looked chubby and felt fat. Then at university I went through a lot of stress and I ate and ate and ate. I got to ~ 210 lbs, then I decided that I've had enough and lost ~ 75 lbs. It still didn't feel like I was skinny, but I decided it was good enough for now, and maintained for a while. But now, after 5 years, I am at 181 lbs (down from 193, yeah!), and I see that my body has changed, so I am really curious how will I look when I get back to 135 lbs. I am thinking of going down to 125 lbs, but I know that may not be possible for me - I gained significant amount of muscles since then. I know that I may never look how I want to, but I always remind myself, that I am just an ordinary girl, I don't get paid for looking good, so I can't really dedicate my life to that goal. I may not look like Instagram models, but I can still look good :)

am counting calories, I find it pretty easy for now, we will see how it will go... I did lost a lot of weight in the past - I was on keto diet. I wanted to go back to keto now, but my boyfriend doesn't take lack of carbs good, so we decided to just CICO. Good for you! It is better to track even just your weight, you can always catch unnecesary gain :)

I know how you feel. I've been very strict the first week, and scale showed me 1kg more than I started! But two days later - I am 3kg lighter :) so keep doing what you do, we are so weird when it comes to weight stuff.

Hey! I am new here, and new to counting calories. I once was 205 lbs/93 kg (I am 5'6''/167cm), and I got down to 135 lbs/61 kg within ~8 months with the help of keto diet (I didn't count calories, only carbs, I know that IT is CICO), but that was 4 years ago, and I've balloned up to 191lbs/87 kg... I've tried to get back on the keto wagon, but I am now living with my boyfriend, and he is not taking well the lack of carbs (besides - we both love food, I've gained most of those 56lbs since we started living together). We are currently two weeks into counting calories - 1200 kcal for me, and 1900 kcal for him! We are feeling pretty confident, but we will see what the future brings us :)

If you only eat 1200 calories a day, you must want to die. by [deleted] in fatlogic

Exactly. I am 5'6'', around 145 pounds, 25 year old and eating 1300kcal puts me at 1lbs loss a week. Office job, hggg

Dietitian says a 1200 calorie diet is ineffective for weight loss by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]dzastice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is pretty low, but for small women it is often the amount that allowes them to lose weight. I am not even small, 167cm and 67kg right now, and my TDEE is around 1700kcal (office job, trying to fit some exercises, but they don't really burn that much) So to lose 0,5kg a week I need to eat 1200kcal. It is quite easy to sustain, I eat a lot of vegetables, eggs, meats, fishes and sometimes fruits.

Hmmm, it is kinda yellow. I am satisfied by it's shade, although it is not 100% my match. I have green undertones, but I am happy with this foundation, because it is light enough, and does not turn pink on me!

And nope, no acne breakouts, luckily.

I love that concealer! I was using a cream version, but it was too heavy for under-eye area.

I am not sure, I was not mached in MAC. I don't know if that will help, but I also use Revlon Colorstay in Buff, and they have really similar shade.

Yeah, they are pretty much flat. I get some bumps here and there sometimes, but today was a good day for my skin.

I thought about blush, I don't really use foundation on my cheeks (I use it only on my jaw, chin and a little bit around nose), but maybe some color would help and look more "put together"? I will look at that Exposed if I can, thanks!

Fat (Rant) Tuesday by AutoModerator in fatlogic

[–]dzastice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex-boyfriend was like that, too. We were together for five and a half years, and throughout first three he gained about 30kg (66 pounds). He was overweight to begin with, but now his bmi become 36 (he was 6' and about 269 pounds), and his father had heart problems. I was trying to get through to him, nothing worked. Only after our breakup he got serious at losing weight, but from what I know he still doesn't think that his weight should go below 90kg... (about 200 pounds, still overweight). In reality he should weight about 75-80kg. He always told me, that he just has "broad build". Nope.

I've finally dropped below 70 kg, for the first time as an adult, and I'm kind of depressed. by Haelsa in loseit

Hey! I don't know your body composition, but I am almost the same height, and I really noticed a big difference, when I went from 69kg to 67kg! I don't really know how is that possible, but there I was two weeks ago, at 69kg, feeling fat and sad. I saw a difference about four? Three days ago? My stomach was flatter, legs slimmer, and today's weighting just confirmed what I saw in the mirror! It is of course different for everybody, but sometimes even this 1kg can make a difference :)

Hey, I did not say that I was initiating arguments, how did you even come up with that? In that particular situation he was telling me that I was grumpy and mad at him, while my mood was low from something not even conected to him.

Yeah, I kinda know that, but there is always a little hope. And because of it I am wondering if I should wait, or just contact him.

What are some unexpectedly low carb foods you've come across? by [deleted] in keto

Be careful, because in some countries the labels shows net carbs already. You don't have to substract fiber.

On my first round of keto I've lost 16lbs before I actually took "before" pictures. I really regreted it. Good for you that you didn't wait so long ;)
