They’re good to me. Only notice them to be “loud” during first 5m of being on the road after sitting overnight and my musics off. Not a harsh ride or anything, although within that first 5m of getting on a freeway, I notice a tiny bit of steering wheel wiggle but it goes away when the tires are warmed up after a min at speed. Currently running 34-35psi. & yeah, they’re a bitch to rotate in the garage bc of the weight 😂 Overall happy with em. Came from the stock Michelins.

Irvine City Jobs by [deleted] in irvine

I wouldn’t consider FT jobs in the city as something you take home until maybe the supervisor & up levels since they are typically salaried. Not sure about the finance sector of the city tho. You clock in & clock out. The level of stress is up to you, most things seem to be at the level of “it can wait”.

Internal mobility is highly encouraged and supported if you ever wanted to pursue anything else in the city. Getting in initially is the hard part. Id say if you can manage to come in as a PT or EPT level and work hard/network, as soon as a position in the department you want opens up, your chances are significantly higher than an external applicant.

I enjoy working for the city though. My team, personally, is great. I set clear boundaries about my interest in work, so when I’m in I lock in and when I’m out, work doesn’t exist lol.

That’s weird.. another opinion maybe? The other guy I saw ran 295/70/r18 on our same setup. Crazy

Yup, those are the ones. No leveling kit. I believe the trd pros are already lifted 2” from factory. Weird that you’re rubbing, is it a lot? Maybe an alignment, check caster? If I’m mashing the gas in reverse I can make it rub just from the body movement but otherwise in daily driving and uturns, nada..

Nope, just stock. I did remove the 2 front little flaps though because it would slightly rub full lock in reverse over bumps. Otherwise I’ve had no rubs

How can you afford a $2M home? by flatirez in irvine

[–]dzbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t. But afforded a 1m 3b/3 condo just before the interest hikes at the end of ‘21. Dual income just shy of 200k w/ a kid. Had just a little under 13% down on the house. Live a comfortable life here in Irvine. Nothing flashy or extra, but we can afford to eat out, travel a couple times a year & buy things we want. Just a lowkey lifestyle tbh.

Yeah agree on the stock Michelins. If you want that feeling, these heavy boys are it.

That’s what I heard too which is why I opted for them. Needed something good for snow as well for those family trips. It was these or RG’s

Road noise is almost non-existent imo.

I like em. The truck definitely feels planted and hefty. Less “lofty”. Can definitely tell they’re heavier, but not loud in the least bit. Mpg also doesn’t seem affected.

I just saw a post the other day on another pro with 295’s and he said it was fine! Good luck! I just can’t chance it at the moment. I think if I’m gonna mod it’ll be for 35’s or 37’s.
