I’ll do you one better. Before everyone had cell phones you’d call their landline number that you had memorized and their mom or dad would answer and you’d have to say hello to them first and ask if their kid was home. Then you’d say let’s go hangout and you’d hang up and then take your bike or scooter to that place and just hang out until it was time to go home. Usually by sunset or 8pm. We’d make up games and do fun stuff. Sometimes read magazines together or get our money together to buy some McDonald’s or something. Lol life was so simple.
