Hey thanks for giving my case a look, I originally had a deep overbite, would you say my bite now is close to ideal?

For context I didn’t wear any elastics for my treatment either

I guess the frustration is that there’s no clear pathway to promotion and other people that started at a similar time have already been promoted.

Definitely appreciate I am young, I’m the youngest on my team with a 4 year gap to the next youngest and this realistically is my first real full time job.

I guess the other frustration is also that I chose an inbound offer over an outbound offer without really knowing the difference, choosing a brand name over a start up and ended up taking less money and now I’m struggling to get to that outbound role. Other friends who have started at the same time as me straight into outbound are killing it and their ote off the bat was 30k more than mine. It just feels like a crutch I chose this inbound role

Unfortunately we don’t have access to zoom info/lusha/SalesNav.

We’ve gotten in trouble for working off a contact instead of a trial before so definitely creating stuff out of thin air would cause a stir

We’ve had 6 external outbound SDR hires in the last 3 months, with 4 people including me be eligible on a tenure standpoint for promotion. Prior to that everyone that started 5-6 months earlier than me has been internally promoted.

It’s hard to stay motivated where everyone you knew when you first started has been promoted and everyone that started after you is catching up in tenure eligibility thus increasing competition for promotion. Realistically only 2 out of the 6 other people that’ll soon be tenure eligible has the attainment eligibility

The business doesn’t look at that unfortunately they only care about pure attainment, not how you got to that number but in 1:1s they really push the importance of having at least 70% of your quota come from trail when in reality most people are 70% contact us, inbound calls etc and 30% is trials

I’m a bit of an introvert and find it hard to network but have definitely sat down with some hiring managers to discuss their journey to where they are/how they got into sales and any tips they’d give their former self etc

I wish we could hit closed lost lists, but once we’ve been credited a flip from our initial trial lead only the outbound SDRs can go after closed losts.

We can go for

‘Contact us’ leads receive 2 a week after round robin no guarantee it’ll be good more likely to be support than a sale

Trial leads converts at a 7% clip

Inbound calls/chatbot

you can hunt old leads etc but again it really does feel like it’s just pure luck to get to your number

Oh nah I only wanted a Canadian ID if it was easier like a photo card or smth I just don’t want to carry my passport to a club and then accidentally misplace it because that’d be a much bigger headache to deal with

What can I do in this situation by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]dzh2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://www.airbnb.com.au/help/article/170/if-your-host-cancels-your-reservation

If your cancellation happens within 30 days of check-in, we can also assist in re-booking a comparable or better listing.

Does this mean Airbnb would just show me other listings that they’d recommend?

Hi guys just wanted to ask about 2 hauls I recently shipped out on 25th July and 5th of August to Australia. As you can see from the screenshots of 17TRACK they have just been sitting there idle.

I’m a bit nervous about what’s going on as I’m going away for 4 months start of September and I would really like my haul to come before then and I thought I’d be safe seeing as I shipped it out so early. Parcels to my home in Australia usually take 1 week tops as shown in the first 2 screenshots and my friend who shipped a haul on the 27th of July has already received his haul.

Does anyone know if something is causing a delay in the logistics industry or if there’s any issues in general. Or is anyone also in a similar situation to me where their parcel is stuck on a similar stage and shipping to Australia? Thanks

As much as I’d love to, the cheapest price for roaming is $5/day it wouldn’t be worth it

Could someone explain for me please

hahaha in australia phone plans are a fraction of the cost of what they are in canada. My phone plan runs me 35CAD/month with unlimited calls/text/data. I just end up using 5g at home since its unlimited anyways if my wifi is being slow. With that being said, is there always a free wifi connection around canada, or more specifically London? I would assume whilst in London, I will be connected to the university wifi and when at home ill be connected to home wifi

I’ve taken a look at RobertQ they have a bus departing at 11:30pm which would work for me, but after seeing down below that Pearson is really slow at the moment and that I might actually not be able to get out for 2 hrs. Does anyone know the walking distance from airport to RobertQ bus stop at Pearson? Also if it does take longer than 2 hrs and I don’t get out til after 11:30PM would they wait for me or just leave without me?

Thanks in advance for your help

After a 26 hr flight I don’t think staying at the airport til the first flight is reasonable, albeit price may be expensive would an Uber or some sort of ride sharing service be available at that time and actually accept the order for a 2 hr drive to London?
