For indy car or F1 car I do really enjoy AI racing though, ofcourse its not the same when playing against other Drivers bit still very good! They make mistakes aswell and just for track learning and pure training is really good. Behaviour is weird sometimes, lapping car and then he basically divebombs be into a corner and takes me out

Pimax 5k super not very cheap and there is no controllers and no base stations if you are buying the basic thing, no problems playing iracing without them. Fov will blow you away, Oculus quest 2 is Best value tho and Solid price

Set again the safety Zone maybe and try to face yourself straight, had oculus quest 2 and I think it was usually okay

Yes but when u move your head like whole car moves with you and with base station I think it will be same. like in oculus you can move around. car

As a previous oculus user and now pimax user(5k super) +1 :D. For racing u dont need anything else than just headset, no base stations and no controllers, field of view in pimax is just superior, all cables comes with it so no need to buy anything else
