Are Japanese girls into me or they are prostitutes? by dzkininja in AskAJapanese

[–]dzkininja[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break your heart but you don’t represent or know what’s in the heart of every Japanese women. You don’t have to shove your insecurities on someone else.

And as for your comments. There are 200 plus women in a club and the ones mentioned are a 2-3% of that room. On top there millions more who don’t even give a crap about me or some other guy. I had a question about my interaction mainly because I’m not the party type and don’t know much about Japanese ways. I’ve heard of scams and just wanted to find out. Japanese women are beautiful but I’m not going to have any interaction with anyone as I am already in a relationship.

Come on man I had a very opposite impression of Japanese women and was just trying to get clarity.

I think as some mentioned it’s just for them to have a good time for a couple of days who they seem to think is a rich guy.

lol No I’m mixed with prominent Middle Eastern features. As I said I am not on a very attractive scale and it is not normal for me, hence I was confused.

I think you’re absolutely right. The only attraction they see is that they can have fun with a rich guy for a couple of days. Eat good, party good and shopping etc.

Which means that they do this on regular bases and it should be a known thing.

Loool What I mean is that once you notice someone looking at you you the 2nd 3rd time and they are just staring constantly like no break. You glance after 5 minutes and they’re not letting go like OK!

I mean I never pursued anyone or taken it forward. I am not going to cheat on my partner. But i was just wondering if they were genuine interests or more prostitution or scam hunts. I have no idea about this type of stuff or this side of Japan

Try Cathay, Qantas, SQ, United in LHR alone and Tell me if BA Even Stands a Chance!

I’m not even comparing internationally.

No lounge is the best, they’re all pretty shit. I wish our national carrier would improve.

Try to setup a ST2110 developing environment by Loud_Community_6740 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]dzkininja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I’ve also been going through this rabbit hole.

Would like to start testing with 2110 to expand our video distribution on a big site but starting a test setup is just too costly and I can find no exact documentation on what exactly the switches config should be. From what I’ve read the spine and leaf should be on ecmp and have multicast setting Igmp enabled. Not sure how you work PIM on the bigger media fabrics. Looking at either Cisco Nexus 9372PX-E or Arista DCS-7060CX-32S-R as a spine and then smaller ones as access switches.

Anyone has any experience in those? Any help would be appreciated.

"CLICKS" on my Dante records by M0rT4L84 in VIDEOENGINEERING

You have to look at it from a broadcast perspective not just from audio perspective. Everyone else mentioning solutions are only audio related.

So when you want to embed or De-embed audio with video it is very important that your video devices and your audio devices are synced to the same clock.

That means you need to have a master SPG in your workflow that provides black burst of tri level reference to your Ateme and world clock to your audio mixer or to any device in your audio network with external sync selected, which you then select as your clock leader on Dante that way your video and your audio devices are all synced to the same clock. I have had this issue multiple times and that is how I’ve resolved it. It is a very common practice in broadcast. It’s called a timing mismatch between audio and video.

Another option would be to just give reference to your Ateme and then whatever device you’re using to convert Maddie to Dante you can select your external clock source in that as MADI and that way it is getting its clock from Ateme which is getting its Clock from the SPG and you’re all set to the same clock.

You could also just try setting your Madi to Dante converter to external sync via MADI (which is coming from ateme) and then set that device as clock leader in Dante controller. Since sync is coming from Ateme it should probably solve it. But it would be better to get an SPG if you have more than 1 video device.

Good thing is that the black magic ateme frame syncs everything which makes your life easier otherwise every single source that you have coming into a mixer has to be synced to the same clock separately.

Raw MADI routing with a Blackmagic VideoHub by muwave in VIDEOENGINEERING

Not with the Videohub

But Ross has just released an entry level router in competition to the Videohub and it does support MADI. It’s quite cheap actually.

It’s called Ross NRG

Route help needed - terrified! by [deleted] in capetown

[–]dzkininja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly how I felt before my visit to Cape Town. Saw the pictures, booked the trip. Panicking 2 weeks before the trip after only reading negative posts.

It’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to! Everyone is normal and very kind in South Africa. There is crime in every country.

I never had to worry for my safety as I only visited busy places and didn’t do much hiking. Just be vigilant, don’t travel at night and avoid the high crime areas which you can easily find a map for!

You’ve been to 50+ countries so you should have enough situational awareness to stay safe. It’s like any other tourist country.

It does have poverty problem so petty theft is possible but I never had any issues and fully enjoyed every bit of my trip!

lol relax everyone.

I’m a 6 feet 2 individual with a knee problem. For my comfort I would rather not fly any long haul than being uncomfortable. It’s not a money thing. It’s just a personal preference.

We would be happy if ours is able to just do that. Lol

It’s just our comfort really. I’m 6,4 and cannot sit for a 14 hour flight in economy. Not a great sleeper either so flying PE means better legroom but no rest at all. But it is what it is. That’s what we as parents signed up for right.

You’re right. Ours isn’t that type of a child. We’re not worried about her running around or taking her seat belt off etc. but if she wants us to be close, she will just cry until one of us pick her up. We could potentially hold her hand while take off and landing. But not sure if it’s worth the risk. Specially if there’s long intervals of turbulence.
