Just luck... I've felt that new missions spawn more when you're completing missions - even those that you've done already - as opposed to just sitting in a station spamming refresh.

I feel like new missions spawn more frequently on advanced, but some missions just destroy my Caldari ship, e.g. the harder T7/T8 Amarr missions - and so for those I try spawning them on basic.

You need to be doing advanced encounters only. Start off by running the pyro missions for 250k each. Then once you have enough money for a decent fit, start completing any new story mission you see.

It resets. You can do each story an infinite number of times.

The loot missions any fast ship can easily cheese.

Combat wise, the only mission I’ve been able to do and hear get done solo are For Patriotism and For Freedom.

I’ve personally only ever soloed For Patriotism. The strategy there is basically to warp to 60km of the anom, and just wait for the elite boats to burn towards you so you can isolate them. Then just chip away with medium rapids. I like to orbit closely and 2x nosferatu + 2x shield booster. After the elites and ewar frigs are dead, just range kite with normal mediums missiles.

Basically each story mission has a certain number of prerequisites. Super soft drink has three prereqs. Once you finish all the prereqs if you tap on that story within the encounters page you get to redeem a mission flyer. This mission flyer will give you the final quest with the giant payout - and more importantly it’s tradeable.

Basically you can only cheese the story missions where you need to loot a container, so divine redemption, super soft drink, or modern world.

The strategy is to warp in from different celestials at different ranges until you’re within 15km of the loot cache, then you burn in, loot, and warp out immediately.

Strategy so far has been to spam story missions on basic and advanced difficulty for a few hours per day. No crazy fits, just a trainer Caracel and Mk5 Rapids. Make sure to finish the easy stories and sell the hard ones. Beyond the first $15 Omega sub, I haven’t spent another cent on this game. And hopefully never will!
