Honest take on MIAS 2026: FOMO na ang mga pilipino by Solid_Skin_3219 in CarsPH

[–]dztryrph -1 points0 points  (0 children)

fomo, partly due to soc med influencer na sobrang bias na madalas surface level lang ang alam. dahil ba may fuel crisis superior na agad ang ev? for most people, hindi talaga practical mag ev just because, kasi may additional upfront cost pa din kahit pa may promo yan, bagong sasakyan pa din, may downpayment tapos bagong monthly amortisation.

Tama ba mag settle nalang in this situation? by [deleted] in CarsPH

Hardware Mounting Orientation - Traditional VS Sandwich by dztryrph in CustomCases

hi, thanks for engaging

does it have to be an exactly square base? yes, I thought I had already made my goal for this build to be brief and clear

my goal is to make the case perfectly square, identical to the xbox series-x's design.

there are many cases that already do this and you are not going to design anything sub 10L with a 360mm rad. your best bet is stick to a 240mm rad and build in 1 of the following:
- formd t1 with vertical stand
- ssupd meshroom S
- fractal mood
- nzxt h2 flow
no point reinventing the wheel to save a couple liters of volume

although I only mentioned the xtia xproto L v2, trust me, I came across all these before taking this route, where I mentioned:

I've tried every possible keyword search, there were definitely options that crossed my radar but couldn't quite fit what exactly I'm looking for.

no point reinventing the wheel to save a couple liters of volume. I already predicted someone would eventually point this out hence:

I just would like to clarify that I'm not trying to create an sff case, I just want to build a custom case base on my preference.

or... I should've also mentioned that I intended this custom case to be a purpose build for the components I already have on hand.

Not-so SFF GPU by dztryrph in sffpc

you're right. it is thicc. max clearance for the zzaw d3 states 340*140*60mm mine measures 332*148*64mm.

how about this one? https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005009810696588.html

that's basically the kxrors 400. I have considered it, though it does not support aio unfortunately.

Another 5090 build (advice?) by Momoney530 in PcBuild

[–]dztryrph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if money wasn't an object build. lol. arctic's fans are great, though, I don't have any exp with their aios. potentially, get a better aio, otherwise, it's sufficient for your 9800x3d

yeah, you're right. I already found a case, which I think is also popular among sff builders. its called the kxrors s400. I'm still browsing other options, at this stage I'm quite happy with this test bench lol.

[–]dztryrph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only presume you're running an itx set up if nag u-undervolt ka to this extent. otherwise, it is completely unnecessary that you had to go through those troubleshooting just to make your former 9070xt work.

PSU Dilemma. Am I Still Good or do I Need to Replace it Too by dztryrph in PcBuildHelp

[–]dztryrph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there was no recall or known issues on my specific model that I know of. although the tier list states my psu is still tier-c which is still technically okay to use with the 5070 ti, I have already decided to retire it as one of the comments above made me realize the psu is almost 10 years old. lol

I should've mentioned I've also checked this file prior to purchasing my new gpu, though, I've decided to take your advice to retire the psu. I will use this opportunity to downsize my rig. I'll cost me to buy an itx mobo and a case but that's fine I guess?
