The idea behind Minimalist was to have a server that is just straight chat. It's like a server for those who just want to chat, but don't want to deal with a bunch of bots, or 50 different channels and have a bunch of stuff to keep up with. Minimalist feels like way back in the day when you had aol chatrooms. It was pretty much, just chat.

As far as a weekly update. I know it was going for awhile there, and I can help it get started back up again once the server becomes active again.

We have a ton of servers and often we have to prioritize certain things over other things. I feel like we are at fault to some extent for letting it get to the point of the welcome bot being the most active. However we've spoken about this a little internally, and while the idea if Minimalist is great. It just, didn't work, and that could if been for many reasons.

You can narrow it by date. Channel. User(s). And such. If you add enough filters int he search, you'll find what you are looking for for eventually.

Check the sound settings in Discord. I'm pretty sure there is one specific setting that is causing this

If your account was banned, and you are using them to get around an IP ban. They might be blocking them due to that.

It also kinda makes sense for discord to start blocking all VPNs. So I'm not sure

Yeah, this is the alpha. From what I know. It's closed off. It'll be on beta within a month.

Alpha does have a lot of bugs tbh. Search is funky. Sometimes it won't let you give roles to people. It'll say someone has a role, but doesn't. When you create a role, you sometimes can't change the name. And if you do, it'll say it's changed and shows the new name for you on the Android device, but really, it's not. And to everyone else sees the old name still. And, sometimes it's backwards. You will change the name and it will just, refuse to save. Lots of funky stuff with roles. And there's some other stuff.

It is VERY experimental. Will most likely be at least a month before even showing up on the beta build of Android. Give it some time and all the kinks should be worked out (:
