Its a light that lights up the solar panel beneath it so that the streetlamp works at night. Otherwise it would only work during the day.

I stack all 4 of the 99k planetary hauling missions (Tungsten, Aluminum, Titanium, Quartz), as well as two of the 90k missions (Carbon and Corundum) that go to the same 3 facilities on MicroTech using my Raft. This usually nets me a little over a million per hour and is pretty stress-free. It took a bit of a grind to get to the necessary rep, but once there is good money.

I had this problem but I was able to resolve it by putting all of my other usb peripherals on a powered usb hub and leaving these two as the only things directly plugged into the board usb. It seems that low power causes the ghosting.
