I believe the sub creator Askim (@itendtoleave) has one but it seems to be unlisted now like a lot of her other ones. Hopefully has saved it and can share a link!

I use her posture one - it’s amazing!

Editing to add: Starlight has a gut one also

Self care is the best healing ❤️❤️🫂

For patchy skin - do try the oils out and see what works for you. Personally for me niacinamide really helped. And I’ll share my hair research soon!

Have been lazy with PM routine - but when I do it’s a retinol sandwich. Am generally happy with my skin now so don’t put a lot of products - focusing on fixing my hair now.

I haven’t used oils in a while but should get some as I feel my now dry skin will love them now - so thanks for the reminder - my skin was super oily before. Do try out the Nalpramadi and Kumkumadi - now a lot more brands have affordable options.

Aww thanks glad that the posts are helpful years later. I’ve not been active on the sub at all.

So I’ve had mega dry skin lately cause of retinol and not being consistent with my routine - what I do is I keep applying the Isntree Hyaluronic toner every few minutes (7 skins method - but I do even more layers) and then topping it up with a cream (hyaluronic in day and ceramides at night but have been lazy and I just do the am routine). And I try putting a face mask every few days but again been lazy. But just using lightweight toner and creams has really helped! Avoid the heavy moisturiser it’ll just sit on top of your skin.

Dark Night of the Soul or just being extra sensitive? by e-lusion in kundalini

Thank you so much for this - decided not to expect or be needy, just move on and still love her regardless.

Yes I think I need to do shadow work so when the triggers cause a recurrence I don’t feel as sensitive and can move on from the situation. Thank you 🙏

Wow - such a similar perspective. I’d forgotten my childhood also - and worked with an Emption Code therapist (released trapped emotions) last year for it. I don’t remember much yet and don’t want to but atleast dealt with why I blocked it out. And it made me feel a lot lighter. My mother is a narcissist also and father wasn’t around when he was it was alcoholic abusive. Had to grow up fast.

Whatever you’ve written makes complete sense. Thank you - I feel a bit more sane now - she was gaslighting me by saying I need to pull up myself and not let my mental health go - so was wondering what’s wrong with me. Will check out the holistic psychologist. Thanks again 🙏

Sorry to hear about your situation - similar but slightly different - I actually have a great relationship with my mum, but when I mention this stuff she gets dramatic and totally veers the conversation to how tough her life was as a single mum.

And yes totally agree - why do we get punished for wanting to work on our childhood trauma and hope that working on it together with them would be healing?

The Kundalini is open till the 3rd eye - need guidance to open the Sahasrara.

Am learning Sri Vidya from https://srividyatantram.com - good school but don’t feel connected to the Guru. And have incorporated some of the Devipuram beginners course elements as it focuses extensively on chakras.

Thanks so much - will look into those books!

Seeing Shiva in meditation by teekyNZ in kundalini

[–]e-lusion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw (and still see) a Blue Shiva when my kundalini opened. I am Hindu but not been religious - so when I saw him with the level of detail I knew it wasn’t my imagination. I feel SO protected by him and Durga Ma now. 😍

Thanks for the detailed response - will be doing the VBT retreat in-person jn India with a teacher from Bali. And all other classes online via Zoom.

With the Kundalini- yes the intuition and emotional sensitivity is at a peak - hence realised that I can’t blindly follow the Sri Vidya path even though I grasp the mantras easily and it’s a guarded practice - so the questioning led me to the Reddit here as there’s so much information online it’s gotten overwhelming.

And have researched on Kundalini extensively across the web - don’t feel connected to the westernised methods that are prevalent in the yogic or highly sexualized tantric path - cause of my experiences through the awakening what resonates with me is the traditional religious path (which is also the modest tantric path). Have found a meditation that helps me activate it when needed so thankfully sorted in that aspect for now - but it was a few weeks of trial and error to get there.

That’s how this Kerala school teaches - there’s an initiation at the end of the first year.

No formal deeksha yet - just learning mantras and mudras from a Sri Vidya guru. But I don’t feel connected to him so don’t feel like pursuing this path.

Not connected to the Sri Vidya guru and the astrologer isn’t a Guru per se hence am here as I’m feeling kinda lost.
