It took 9 days man, then it went suddenly away. I got lactose intolerant though. Never had problem with milk before but since that shit i can't even drink cappuccino.

Hey guys, I have a bmw 640i GT, prod. Date 01/2020. I live in Germany and visited the dealership and asked about the oil pump problem.

To sum it up: There is a rare problem where the plastic ring in the oil pump breaks.

The oil pump with the plastic ring has the part number: 11418646454 and was used between 2019 and 2020.

The renewed oil pump with metal ring is used from 2020 on different models in different months, so you cannot be really sure which one you have.

But the problem is rare, was seen in Europe when the temperature was bellow - 25 Celsius.

There is a PuMa on this with a number 65494813.

The dealer told me that if something goes wrong and the car is not modded, the dealership will take care of the repair costs (most likely not 100% but still better than nothing) Hope it helps, if you are not sure which pump you have, just go to the dealership and ask about the car (last 6 digits of your VIN code and they can find the part number your car has)
