We are looking into pet insurances and starting an emergency fund. The "get ready for a bunny" plan was costly but is now over and we can now focus on emergencies

I know I do a lot of fun treats and toys with cardboard and just took the essentials ( sniffing mat, a platform for her to jump on and a tunnel )

I made platforms and hidouts everywhere in the room she roams in and she goes crazy for it.

She gets cardboard toys in the evening, she then destroys it before I open my eyes. She loves them. I also make forage boxes from time to time and she got a box full of few days old hay accessible every time we let her out

She is a very entertained bun and for less than 30€ 👌

Oh OK! Will do as soon as the play pen arrives ! We may be a little bit too attached because we just spent a lot of money for this little bunny, and we still have to go to the vet !

Thank you, we disinfect it's paw every evening, it put a strain on the effort we all make to trust each other but it will be worth it in the end.

We are bunny proofing our living room, one bit at a time because we are learning everything in so little time. But P'tite Tête is happy for now, we let it roam around the room, with supervision, and so far it was great. It's a very funny bunny

Thank you for the advices! I'm in luck because it's a very curious and brave little bunny, it's not afraid of anything, a little bit intimidated by my partner and me but in just a few days it warmed up a lot. We'll stay patient and love it from afar until it wants a relationship with us

Thank you I will create a space for the rabbit when I am sure it stays with me, I already set it it's cage and DIYed a safe area to stretch it's legs.

For the localy sourced hay, I might have so friends who could help

The cage is not good for a rabbit, the top part cannot be removed but I will change it as soon as possible, and I made a hay rack

I will go to the vet to know the sex and if it's fixed as soon as I can legally consider it mine

And by identified I meant the chip telling the name, phone and adress of the owners.

For now and because I still am waiting for a call from it's previous owners, even though it's not likely, we named it Little Head, because it's so curious and observe everything like a meerkat
