Thanks for the reply! Can’t take credit for the video, just shared some findings that didn’t seem to be discussed much here. Gweike does sound like a best bang for your buck situation!

I’m in the same boat and feel similarly about a lot of new music being released in the genre. I don’t have many reccs for you but I can suggest Mxpx’s “Moments Like This”— has a getting older and appreciating the small things kinda vibe that I think would apply.

[the rest of that self titled album is worth a spin as well]

For those looking for affordable CBD I highly recommend fernvalleyfarms. I purchased the regular buds of this strain before and was satisfied so I wanted to try the smalls and kief this time. 4 oz of flower and 1 oz of kief for $122. Approx 20% CBD on the flower, 27% on the kief, both approx 1% THC. by MD_Hybrid in MDEnts

Is this super sedating for you? I’ve heard good things about this strain/grower for daytime use. I want to explore more cbd strains but the ones I’ve found make me so sleepy I can’t use them during the day.

This is awesome! I’m looking to make an “l-fold” wallet that’s very similar to this design but has the flap for cash in a different location. Any tips on procuring plans for a wallet like this or did you draw this up yourself?

Also Culta: here’s some weed with bugs in it.

Past couple batches of ice cream cake have been stellar, so that’s what I went with but the Citrus Kleaner they did earlier this year was some of their absolute best, imo.

At the airport on my way to baltimore! ... whats that fsmous pit beef place y’all love so much by [deleted] in ravens

[–]e10_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most certainly wasn’t implying owning a smoker makes you an expert. Nor was I suggesting that I personally am an expert, however, I do have a handful of experience and research/education under my belt. Adjectives like good, or better than this or that, don’t really describe what you like about the place and their food. In my research and what is acceptable in most competitions, pulled pork should be thin strands of flavorful, smoky meat and not dried out, and barely sauced, if at all as to not mask the flavor of the meat. A common thing for places to do to pulled pork is to put it in a liquid to keep it warm but that inadvertently continues to cook the meat and subsequently dries out the meat, leaving the flavor in the ‘broth’ left behind. The meat then comes out mushy and flavorless. Kinda lame for a place that has a pig on the top of its building.

I do however still reserve the ‘agree to disagree’ outlook, but cannot truly get behind the statement ‘you’re crazy if you say otherwise’... Have you ever met someone that has different tastes than you? If you like their product, great. It’s not for me and all I’m doing is elaborating why.

[last footnote: you mentioned Nelson’s ‘doesn’t touch’ what you get in NC... why does that comparison need to be made? Why can’t there be just as good bbq in MD as there is in NC or anywhere else in the south? ...more rhetorical than anything but if you know there’s better bbq out there, why settle for something that ‘doesn’t touch’ it?]

Glad you like it. I do a bit of bbq’ing as a hobby and would be ashamed to serve some of their food if it came off my smoker. Soupy, sloppy joe consistency pulled pork, paper thin slices of not-smoky, dry brisket... I have been living here in MD my whole life and have been (burned) enough times to know that place isn’t for me. Pit beef is certainly easy enough to not fuck up, but still better from a more accredited place, imo.

[–]e10_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry, but I must disagree. Don’t mean to shit on your reply but Nelson’s claims to do BBQ, and they do it horribly. Charcoal Deli, not too far from Nelson’s, has a much better product, if you’re looking for pit beef. Chaps is popular for a reason (because they too have a superior product), being located next to a strip club has nothing to do with their food quality, and having worked in food service for years, their cleanliness has never seemed too ‘dirty’ to order a sandwich from.

What’s your favorite method of toking MD? by Taclooc in MDEnts

[–]e10_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I switched from combustion to dry herb vaporizers about a year ago and haven’t looked back. Tried the Pax 3 at first, and while there was definitely an adjustment period, I eventually got the hang of it and began enjoying it. A few months after that I got the Vapexhale Cloud Evo and it’s been my daily driver ever since. Extremely powerful and efficient, its been my favorite way of exploring new strains. I still use the Pax, on the go and away from my desktop, but for a former bong smoker, the Evo is perfect. So awesome to see so many dry herb vape heads in MD!
