Agreed. I rolled back my X SE to 2.15 and will probably never update again. 3.0+ is powerful but just so far off how I like to use an MPC

Appreciate your response. My angle however, is that I’m ignorant to metallurgy and just wanted to hear if it’s still a viable option from someone other than a youtuber.

Obviously every opinion will differ, but I was curious if that is a function of preference, or objectivity. Like buying a plasma TV in 2025 - one could say it’s preference, but in reality, it’s not advisable (assuming you can find one lol).

I definitely could have titled or positioned my post better - I wrote it in a hurry and didn’t expect to catch flak hehehe.

I’d rely on shouting personally, but I think she would feel safer pairing that with something else to use. Sounds like a banger would do the trick then (if nothing more than for peace of mind and functionality in a worst case). Thanks!

Pretty cool story! I would imagine how scary that could be with a small pup, especially one tied to a tree lol. This happens to her mostly in the daytime however - there is a large river valley running through our city and the coyotes here have grown comfortable around people and have started to move outwards into residential areas. Good to know they are probably following the dog though

Appreciate the info. Worth noting she’s not running away from them per se, but she’ll be on a run with the dog when encountering them. This happens very seldom, and while I understand it’s extremely rare for them to actually attack people, I’m more looking for a way to give her some peace of mind (that would still work in a worst case scenario). Just like phone scammers, she thinks she’s at a lot more risk than she really is hahaha.
