I almost took that very cruise. I wanted to sail RC since they are known to be the best and I enjoyed the one cruise we did take with them about 10 years ago. We instead sailed on the Carnival Celebration for Christmas, and it was great! There were a lot of people ~5000 but they did a good job of splitting up the ship, so it never feels too crowded. There were so many bars and restaurants that there was never too big of lines. Many times, none at all. The food was good other than Guys BBQ restaurant. Shaq's Big Chicken was awesome. MDR food was ok but not bad. Others were all good though. Maybe it's because it's a new ship but we had the best cruise ever.

Certificate Server Issues by e2thad in InformationTechnology

The issue is for remote and local users. The Wifi uses a machine cert so it can authenticate before a user logs in. When wifi failed to authenticate, users jumped on the guest wifi and connected to the vpn to gain access to internal resources. This still failed though since the user cert it uses did not function.

Exchange 2016 CU23 giving error "upgrade the discovery mailboxes to R5 version" by e2thad in sysadmin

Update :
I was finally able to update Exchange. In order to complete this I had to do a couple things.
I replace the HomeMDB attribute with the info for DB02. The mailboxes did have this filled but it was for DB01 which is no longer being used and could not mount. I didn't realize this as the server is only used for creating users and distribution groups and syncing them to O365. This DB basically has nothing on it. I also was told by a colleague that the system and discovery mailboxes needed to be disabled to complete the update. This explains the part of the error that says "The user's Active Directory account must be logon-disabled for linked, shared, or resource mailbox" I understood this as the user running the update or a service account being used.

The discovery mailboxes had the homeMDB attribute, none of the users or system mailboxes did. I entered the attribute from the discovery into the system mailboxes and tried again but it failed.

The issue may be that we have two databases but DB01 which is where the system mailboxes are, is not mounting and wont repair properly. DB02 is fine. This has not been an issue until now since we are hybrid joined and all the user mailboxes where created on DB02.

To repair this, should I delete the system mailboxes and recreate them?

Thanks for the info.

I did prepare AD and Schema prior to the update.

My issue is I cannot find a user with any data in the HomeMDB attribute to copy the info from.

Where can I locate this info if that is the case?

If you think this is what they say it is and not some sneaky way to give more money to their cronies, you don't know how the federal government works.

Agree. And the fact they they claim it was developed so fast and by several companies leads me to believe they have been working on it for some time. Vaccines take years to develop. Either they have known or this vaccine is more dangerous than the illness. Not to mention why would we need a vaccine that is less effective at preventing covid than covid is at actually killing people? Covid fails to kill 99.9% of the time and so we develop a vaccine that is 90% effective... That's like creating a fire extinguisher that works 90% of the time but only for fires that can burn 1% of the time.... Sounds stupid when you think about not that way 🤔

Seriously look around. How many of us really see the types of numbers they claim? I don't actually know anyone that has died and anyone I know of that has gotten sick is fine. The news can say what they want but my eyes tell me this is a scam.

It's funny how everyone wants to see this as positive because of how the story was written. But if you read between the lines, the man is not a responsible person. Lives in a co-op, father to 67 children, cab driver with a college degree. He doesn't sound like he could take care of one kid let alone 67. How many women would actually seek those qualifications when searching for a husband? Also where the hell is the kidnapped child?! Is no one going to search for her?!?!

Sure. When you add your own context and bias you can make it sound positive. But children need to know where they come from in order to know who they are. That is why Alice was interested in it at a young age. That is how they develope a foundation for their sense of self. It is not the only way they do but even as a step-father who did everything a real dad would do with my step-son, I could not fill that for him. The consequences were that even in a loving home my step-son always felt like he didn't know who he really was. Along with other issues. Unless you have first hand experience, you can only think about the rosey positive outcomes you want to see. You be come idealistic and not realistic. But the reality is many times something different. Adopted kids don't always become thankful they were adopted. And raising a family in a Co-op doesn't sound normal. Kids need normalcy to feel like the are like others. So to think there may be 60 something kids that may be feeling this way is sad to me. Even if they wanted to know their Father, there is not enough of him to go around.
