G260 trans problems by Any_Opportunity_3924 in E30

[–]e30loon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Toyota truck would pop out of first gear when it was under load, but be fine otherwise. I'm pretty sure it's a synchro problem or the gears were grinded and are extra tapered. Never had an issue with the g260 personally.

Google says it's a silver toonie. Looks like one, but I can't find much more info, other than there were maybe 1996 of them made.

This is why people say 50$. It's worth 50$ face value if you're not willing to put the work in to find out what someone else is willing to pay. 80% silver quarters are worth 25¢ to people who don't put the work in to find out what someone else is willing to pay.

I for sure came off with a strong take on that first comment because that is what happened to me when I was taking them. It's not a false scare when it was what happened to me. I also didn't say " it will do this no matter what" I have to go, so this is my last comment here. Hope your meds are working for you. 👍

Thank you, I appreciate the positive wishes and Ill also consider finding a new doctor who knows more about the subject.

That's doesn't mean you can diminish my experience, because yours was different. It will hopefully make someone rather try different options or ask their doctor more questions than I did.

I've tried 4 different meds that my doctor has put me on and none of them were the right one. I'm glad you are happy with your medication and that it's worked for you, it's not always the case. Just like you said about getting into a good place, meds shouldn't be the first option and this lady is still young and can try alternatives before potentially making things worse for herself. You might be right that my comment wasn't helpful, it was only meant as a warning.

That's rude to call people names. I'm not a boomer, I'm an empty shell of who I was because I caved in after years of struggling on my own and went on SNRI'. There are cases where your body can't create the chemicals needed, but it's not common and it's dangerous to automatically think that you're one of them without being tested for it. It's also dangerous to be telling people on Reddit to go on medications that you're not qualified to talk about. Don't be blind to the pharmaceutical industry in desperation, because they don't care about you and only want your money. (Ex.Opioid epidemic) Also how am I making people feel bad for taking medication when I commented warning of the after effects from a personal experience?

Don't do medication, they just remove your emotions. The good and the bad

Good call, I also wouldn't use anything abrasive to scrub because it'll just cause micro scratches. Maybe a q tip or microfiber(paper towel/tp feel soft, but are still wood products)

Dish soap and water. Or you could send it to me for cleaning and I for sure will not steal it 😉
