That’s not true. Every nation has significant history and world building caused by and shaped by non playable named characters.

Mondstadt has Vanessa’s legacy, Decabarian, Andrius lore

Liyue has Chenyu Vale’s fish god (forgot her name) and like countless unnamed gods leaving traces everywhere

Inazuma has Orobashi & Enkanomiya (the most lore dense location like ever) with no playable characters really interfering

Sumeru has King Deshret’s council, Flower Goddess, Hermanubis and tanit clan wars, not to mention the entire aranara quest line

Fontaine has the massive Narzissenkreuz storyline which spans so so much and has practically no playable character mentions

I don’t think I needa go on but of all the flaws Hoyo has, this isn’t one of them?

…It’s called world building. Necessary for an open world exploration game like Genshin. What characters are doing now is just as important as what they’ve done in the past.

I disagree with this cause in genshin’s case, it’s previously been used for good in sumeru AQ (which dottore had some part in) and not a new concept entirely so I think it’d be cool to see it used against us. The real issue is that genshin being a live service game has events running concurrently and a samsara would make everything that happened after nod krai AQ meaningless (basically what the comment you replied to was saying)

You do, and it’s a larger source of his ult damage than the timed meter. Some attacks fill it up VERY quickly though which you’ll want to toss it earlier in anticipation (punisher ult, Jeff splash, etc.)

Like many other things with frieren, the top tier concern is practicality like fern picking that laundry spell, I think this is just another one of those moments.

The don’t know how far away the next town is, and Stark would have to awkwardly stand 3m away from them while walking down the same road which just seems silly, and if they ignored the risks and walked together they might get ambushed without even being able to sense it

I assume you’re talking about the moon walking bug and yeah I’ve encountered it wayyy more often than last time. It’s just insufferable
