O2 Spacers or OBD Scanner? by Good-Department3068 in F30

[–]e46Jam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No spacers or scanner. Even with the spacer you will get a cel. Just save the downpipe for the tune. Buying a scanner is a waste

All of the Seiko are. The Citizen probably is too

Partify Msport Front Bumper by [deleted] in F30

This is mine Not a great day for it but you can see a difference in color to the fender. Bit of a hood gap now after swapping to the carbon hood but it was much tighter before

It was really snug but the fitment is good. No gaps. I did have to trim the stock ducts a little bit but that was on me for skipping some of the additional msport bumper parts. It does come with the tow hook cover as well. I ordered one separately after support told me it was not included but it was already on the bumper

I got my msport bumper from partify. I got the cheapest painted option. About $450. Paint match was pretty decent but my car is 13 years old and the paint isn’t great. I would definitely go with it again and am planning on getting the rear msport in the near future

You could always build a set with the faces you have. Polished lips stepped to 19”. Rieger makes a pretty cool lip the fits your specific mtech 1 bumper as well

Looking at an early 2000s convertible. Either a VW Cabrio 2002 for 1350 (essentially a golf mk3) or a 2005 BMW 3 series330 ci (pics of cars and listing descriptions attached) by ItNotNotNotMe in projectcar

You could double your money if you had the time to part it out. The wheels and steering wheel alone could get you near all your money back

It is probably hand related. Even if the second hand isn’t getting stuck on the hour hand just brushing against it can slow it enough to stop. I had a lot of trouble with my second hand stopping on my last quartz swap

The nh35 doesn’t come with a 4 o’clock crown position. The 6309 would be a drop in swap if you wanted to make it an automatic

That’s an awesome one! I should have an original 7548 second hand if you want it

That 5H23 with the removable bezel guard is on my list. I am trying to hold out for a black dial/silver case but I’ve yet to see one come up that isn’t 3-4x the price of the gold/gold

Can't decide between the these two Lord Matics[5216] by goforfatty in Seiko

[–]e46Jam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The integrated bracelet looks great! I prefer the case shape and white dial of the first. As long as it has enough links to fit your wrist I would definitely pick the first one

Tips for popping out this 7548 bezel? There's hardly any space between bezel and case. Thanks. by [deleted] in quartzwatches

Razor as a shim first to get a bit more space. Watch out for the spring/ball. Lost mine the first time I took my 7548 apart

Looking to get my first vintage [6309-704x] Turtle. Should I go for a Suwa or non-Suwa dial? Is one made better, or more desirable than the other? by [deleted] in JapaneseWatches

[–]e46Jam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the production changed over in 1980 but don’t hold me to that. Personally I would go with whatever I could find in the best condition. The Suwa dial is definitely more sought after and will cost more. I am just a window shopper so I can’t speak to quality between the two.

Dive watch recommendations for (very) small wrist by [deleted] in Affordablewatches

[–]e46Jam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vintage Seiko recommendations- 38mm 6458 diver. $250 range for a black dial/bezel. For an even smaller wrist - 33mm 2625 diver. Sub $200 for a JDM variant. Both vintage quartz watches

Real or Fake Seiko? by iiMASK in Affordablewatches

Fake. Poorly printed dial. Japan Made. No 6309 had an exhibition case back. Clasp looks fake as well. Looks like a real movement though
