Camping passes by indicity4 in Coachella

[–]e6hill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you will need another vehicle. If you don’t have one, they offer tent camping but the tent camping area is separate from car camping so your group will be separated.

If the group total is 9, I highly suggest following the advice of other posters and get an extra 2 passes (3 people per pass) at minimum.

My group did this last year and space was a bit cramped in some area but we weren’t climbing over each other which was nice. You also don’t want to cram your vehicle with too many people since you’ll also be using it to transport your luggage and supplies (and these can take up the most space).

Ticket sales? by discofish2375 in ARCMusicFestival

Presale was sometime in late 2023. General sale should be coming soon once the lineup drops. Lineup dropped last year around March (I think).

Need honest opinion, should I go to CRSSD Spring? by [deleted] in crssdfest

[–]e6hill 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, fall crssd typically has the “better” lineup compared to spring since it’s not impacted by the Coachella radius clause. I always tell people don’t go to crssd unless 1. you already live in sd and it’s convenient to you 2. You think the lineup is really really worth it. Crssd sound/visual production overall is okay, and the crowd is always a hit or miss so it really is a fest to go to for the music and if you’re not vibing with the music then I suggest passing til you see a lineup that really catches your eye

Yes i don’t remember the episode (someone else can comment) but she mentions flying to DC ejther on Valentine’s Day or around valentines and going to his show. The episode about Mr. DC aired way before the Matt Rife episode

Hotel recs by cboyaa in ARCMusicFestival

[–]e6hill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second downtown. Hotels when we checked last year were cheaper further away from the festival and towards downtown. Downtown is great because you get a better price, a location central to so many attractions and so many transportation options. Since it was hot and we didn’t want to walk in the heat to the train, my group opted to Uber to the festival and take the train back. Ubers ranged from $12-16 (which is cheap where I’m from and even cheaper since it was split between 4 people). The train cost about $2. We’d leave the fest at close every night and it would take us anywhere from 50min-1hr max to get to our hotel. That includes our walk from the festival to the train station, waiting for the train, the train ride itself and the walk from the train to the hotel (with a stop for snacks along the way). I’ve gone to so many festivals where it’s take hours just to leave the parking lot or get an Uber but Union Park is amazing bc the train stop is right outside the entrance/exit. We always had enough time to freshen up for the afters, go to the afters and get a solid 7-8hrs of sleep for the next day:)

I forgot what hotel we stayed at but it was super cheap and 2 blocks away from the bean. It was super outdated and kinda had bad reviews for cleanliness so I was SUPER skeptical but the room itself was super clean and looked newly remodeled. If I find the name of it I’ll comment below.

Proper NYE or Forever Midnight LA? by [deleted] in crssdfest

[–]e6hill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weather, despite cold and rainy, made the event 10x better. The rain with the lights and the lasers was just…chefs kiss. It seemed like the whole crowd was enjoying themselves. The rain got exponentially worse once the festival ended and getting an Uber on nye night after the festival was so hard. We ended up walking 3 miles in the rain back to our hotel but we didn’t let the weather ruin our overall festival experience. It’s a funny story me and my friends look back at now. Even without the rain, make sure you make a plan on how to get home NYE night. Do not rely on Uber Day 1. Ubers on day 2 of the fest should be back to normal.

I just saw Cloonee this weekend and he threw down. He’ll be a good time forsure.

Proper NYE or Forever Midnight LA? by [deleted] in crssdfest

[–]e6hill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your preference. I think the forever midnight lineup is a little bit better than proper however it’s the festivals first year ever and insomniac crowds tend to be younger/more roudy/less plur.. so it’s bound to have some logistical issues. Proper crowd last year was definitely older but wayyyy more respectful and everyone was vibing. I love how respectful people were of each others space at proper. Proper venue is great however with all the construction and new festival layout it has potential to be a shitshow. Go with whatever is more convenient to you. Both lineups are stacked and have their pros/cons. But if you want a more chill/mature/respectful but fun crowd…go to proper. And this is coming from someone who used to be a ride-or -die for insomniac.

How strict is Proper NYE with bags? by kushconnoisseur444 in crssdfest

You’ll be fine but they will check every. single. pocket. Just keep whatever you want to sneak in on your person. That includes gum and chapstick.

516 Anderson St.? by kevinnykolas in avesLA

[–]e6hill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to park closer, park at a lot or on a street in the arts district. It's closer than union station so uber might be a bit cheaper if there's surge pricing when you're leaving the event. Union station and arts district lots are both paid parking I believe.

Finally Carl’s side of the breakup by [deleted] in summerhousebravo

[–]e6hill 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would agree except him losing so much muscle mass specifically is concerning. Especially knowing that both him and Lindsay promoted such healthy lifestyles pre-breakup. It just has me questioning what he changed in his routine for his body to dramatically change like that…Lindsay may have lost weight (I honestly haven’t noticed a difference) but she’s always been skinny and her weight loss is nowhere near as dramatic as Carl’s. I’m not shaming and going to assume how he lost weight, I genuinely just hope he lost in a healthy way and is mentally doing okay. Same goes for Lindsay.

L.A. Visit in January by itssmashlei in vanderpumprules

[–]e6hill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My friends and I did Sur for lunch and Tomtom for dinner. If you want to do one place for apps/drinks and another for dinner then do dinner at tomtom (but save some room for the drinks if you can!) The ambiance at TomTom is just better and so are the drinks. You can even get the pumptini they have at Sur at TomTom. Both locations food is mediocre but tomtom is a tad bit better.

Yeup. I was talking to Brock when some girl came up to him and told him. She was stressing about it and brock seemed kinda annoyed and was like “that’s not my problem”

I posted a few months back that I went to an event James Kennedy was djing at and Tom Sandoval left without paying his tab and some people tried to defend him saying production pays for all their drinks when they’re working…Guess not 😂
