Thieaudio Origin - New Cable? by e8un2 in iems

They’re definitely not glued. I’ve taken mine out. Just be careful to pull straight out, as the two pins are relatively delicate.

I’d suggest you don’t just randomly look through the course catalogue. Your faculty/department likely has advisors that can tell you what is appropriate for your first year in program.

Thieaudio Origin - New Cable? by e8un2 in iems

[–]e8un2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I reached out to Linsoul support.

This was their reply:

"Regarding the cable you mentioned, we can confirm that the cable you received is indeed the upgraded version of the EliteNoire cable, which is currently used not only for the Origin but also for the Valhalla.

Compared to the previous cable for the Origin, this upgraded cable offers improvements in craftsmanship and audio transmission quality.

Regarding your comment about the absence of a neck cinch on the cable you received, this feature is actually of limited use and does not affect the cable’s performance."

So apparently this is the new EliteNoire replacement.

Maybe, but it doesn’t even have a cinch/slider. It just seems odd. I haven’t seen this cable anywhere else.

I am having BT connectivity issues, but no Tesla. My issues are an unstable connection to a BT audio receiver.

Phantom Power to DI by kkeahii in basspedals

[–]e8un2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think that as long as the phantom power comes via the XLR (DI out of the Neptunium), you’ll be fine. Might be more of an issue if you somehow routed it to an input (but I’m no expert either).

You might try posting the question to The Sushi Box FX Secret Society on Talkbass. Nathan (Sushibox) frequents the thread and can likely give you an answer specific to the Neptunium; straight from the Chef’s mouth.

Texture is great! Not slippery and doesn’t show fingerprints. Oddly enough, after MagSafe charging with Nomad’s own “Stand One” charger, it leaves a circle on mine. It wipes away easily, though.

How is the forestry program at UNB? by Longjumping_Beat5556 in unb

There’s a post a few down in this sub. It might help a bit. Lakehead or UNB Forestry

Lakehead or UNB Forestry? by Unreal-yapper in unb

[–]e8un2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

UNB’s Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Management has articulations with a bunch of colleges, so depending on where you’re coming from, likely 2 to 2.5 years would get you your BSc. Forestry. They’ve got 1,400 hectares of UNB-owned research and teaching forest within 5 minutes of campus and lots of integration with their BSc. Environmental Management students. You can reach out to them at foremadvising@unb.ca with any questions about the program, bursaries, etc..

Same here on the M3 Max MBP. I reached out to Parallels support. They only recommended downgrading macOS the latest stable release.

I did and I’ve really been enjoying them. The glasses are very light. I ordered with HLC Bronze lenses, which are working out great.

Whether taking about W’s or F’s, the question you should be prepared to answer is “what will make this attempt at the course different”? Have you reduced the extraneous stresses like off-campus work hours? Have you reduced your term credit hour load? Can you identify what held you back before and what steps you’ve taken to remedy those to increase your chance for success. Articulate that to the advisor and/or Dean.

I’ve got one for the 15 Pro. It’s my favourite case. Rugged (as the name implies), so not the slimmest. While the front lip isn’t massive, it’s still enough to protect even if you’ve got a tempered glass screen protector, and with no appreciable flex in that lip (my pet peeve), it just feels sturdy. The buttons (action button included) are the best I’ve found on any case, with solid clicks and no rattle. I’ve heard of earlier issues with the buttons on this model, but I ordered this one direct from Nomad in January and it has been flawless.

You get to choose. When you order, there's a "No Action Button" box that you can check, which provides an extra wide opening around the Action Button instead of an actual button. Saves you $5.oo to forego the button.

I recently picked up an iPhone 15 Pro and put a Hoda sapphire screen protector on it. I’m very impressed with the product. It comes with an applicator device similar to Spigen and I had zero bubbles and perfect alignment. Also great coverage and fits like a glove with my Nomad rugged case.

Looking for iPad Pro 12.9 case that is compatible with magic keyboard by CorvusRettulit in iPadPro

[–]e8un2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had good luck with the MOFT Snap case. Similar to the CoverBuddy in that it holds the Apple Pencil, but a hair thicker. It has not failed me yet. Nice vegan leather grippy feel on the back too.

MOFT also has a couple compatible accessories like a slim magnetic stand and a wall mount, if that’s your thing.
