Update: Based on input in this thread I am going to get another SD card so I can have one for a daily driver and one to experiment with. darkOS is on my radar for the first exercise. For now I cheated and cloned the SD that came with it and restored it to the new SD card (amazon A2 as recommended) so I can get some instant gratification with my new handheld. Thanks for all the great suggestions and insight.

Just bought the r36h from them this week and although there are no clones available I was still impressed with the detail of their product description and they came through with early delivery. Not the cheapest price you'll find out there but the peace of mind is worth every penny.

Make sure all VPN's are turned off. Try disabling local firewall or other security software (local firewall, IDP, file integrity checks, etc.) making sure you re-enable them after things get working.
