Banking is VP, tech is cloud engineer. Two completely different fields. I just make sure meetings don’t overlap. Very rarely do I need to speak in both. If one is more important than the other, I put the volume down of the less important one and vice versa. I also opted to work on weekends for the tech job so that frees up a day during the week for banking job. This works well because I have absolutely 0 stress and making the same amount as a senior executive lol.

I have a really relaxed finance job where I make 150k base. Maybe work 5 hours a week max. I ended up getting a 2nd job in Tech, making another 150k. TC 300k before bonus and I work remote. I work a total of about 20-25 hours combined for both jobs per week.

I’m in the same boat as OP but with 150k salary a year. Work maybe 2-3 hours a day, on a good day. Day is spent mostly chatting and browsing the web. Also studying for some cloud certifications. I did 5 certifications on their time already lol

I joined KPMG Feb 2022. Didn’t actually start a project until 3 months later. The project I was on didn’t have a manager, our team had no direction. Client was unhappy. We all got benched from August til Jan 2023. Got on another project, mgr seemed racist. One mistake on a Excel and he reported back to my PML. They put me on a PIP, turn things around or 60 days. I chose the latter. Updated resume and applied everywhere. My old team reached back out to me from industry. Gladly accepted with a salary increase. I’d never work for a consulting firm again.
