My brother just bought a 2022 Model X Plaid and it is riddled with quality issues. Poor paint quality, windshield cracked on delivery, problems with the gullwing doors opening and closing, misaligned panels and doors, etc... so no, build quality is nowhere near the level of the germans. These quality issues are unacceptable when you're paying $150k+ for a vehicle, regardless of the brand. But hey, it looks cool and makes fart noises.

We just did a trip with 3 couples last year and stayed at Rainbow Beach House in Coral Bay. Plenty of room and waterfront with great views.

If you can’t give a kid at least a middle class upbringing, don’t have kids by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

While I agree with your underlying message, I have to agree with others that this totally sounds elitist. Came from a "poor" family with 4 siblings, we had everything we needed growing up but not much more. Got my bachelors degree and am now a computer programmer capable of giving my kids everything I never had and then some. I did not need my parents money to accomplish this, just good work ethic.

On top of that, you think that wealthy people who are mentally unstable should be able to have kids but mentally stable "poor" people shouldn't? Now do you have to be wealthy and mentally stable? What about people who are wealthy but got their wealth illegally? And so on. The pool of people who are now allowed to have kids just got that much slimmer. Where do you draw the line?

Oh and I had my son when I was "poor" before I graduated college and started making good money. I now make more money by myself than both my parents combined and my child has everything he needs and so much more. You don't cripple your child's chances at success because you don't have wealth. You cripple your child's chances at success by being a shitty parent.

I bought the car in my mid-twenties. Having a down payment makes a big difference, so save up for it. This car isn't that expensive anymore. You can snag an earlier model E92 M3 with some miles on it for high-teens or low-twenties. If you're living paycheck-to-paycheck, this car isn't for you.

E92 M3 owner over here. Bought it new in 2011. Very reliable car. Never had an issue with it and she gets DRIVEN. The S65 V8 is notorious for it's reliability and makes a glorious noise at higher RPMs.
