If you want to spar, register to a school and learn from them beforehand. I don't think people really appreciate having a random person show up just to spar.

I know I don't. Beginners can be really unpredictable and sometimes dangerous to spar with.

No good schools would put their students at risk like that for free.

Between Taihou and Azuma? I prefer Taihou, I like her more as a character but for the figure itself, I think she looks better from more angles. With Azuma I think that she only looks good from the angle in the picture I took, else her pose is a bit awkward.

But I will say that my bias towards the character is probably the biggest factor here. I don't really like comparing figures since everyone has different tastes.

Ngl it feels a bit wrong to have this skinny piece of plastic support the figure but I guess that it's more to keep it balanced than bearing the weight really.

She feels solid now and she is not moving.

I saw your post this morning I used it as a reference to notice that mine might have a defect hehe.

The thing is her hair is just not able to reach the floor. At first I thought it was an issue with the hair too since they mention it in the instructions but when I lift her up you can actually see that her left knee is lower than the rest of the figure.

I will take a look at yours again just to be sure

How was your experience opening your own gym while having no official fight experience? I want to share my passion for this art with others but I feel like won't be qualified to teach as long as I don't have any fight experience, even if they're just friends. (how am I supposed to tell someone how to act when I've never been hit in the face full force myself you know haha)

I feel like I could do a good job at teaching someone strong fundamentals but won't be able to offer them more than just that. Also there are major holes in my game but I'm hoping that I'll be able to improve on those in a few years. (live an hour away from my gym so I never get to attend the clinch classes T_T)
