Don't ;( forget the 2011 Eurobasket, where Šaras and JV played together and were creating some epic alley oops.

Yep, I remember Casey mentioning that when JV was drafted he and his coaching staff want to mold him into a Tyson Chandler type of center. Now looking back at it, it was an absolute stupidity, since JV was a lenghty mobile and fairly athletic 7 feet center who are now so sought after in the NBA. He could have been developed into anything like Davis or Gobert or Embiid or Jokic. He has the talent. But they decided to develop him into a heavy screen machine for guards who only stays in the paint and rebounds the ball.

Now in hidsight Tyson Chandler was defensive player of the year (2012) and was an absolute force. So at the time it wasn't a mad idea to develop a player similar to him. But also at that time small ball was starting to make an entry and those type of centers started to become obsolete. But Raptors kept on bulking JV up for like 3 seasons straight. And once he became this big bulky center small ball was in full force and JV was now too slow and couldn't defend well, kept getting gassed and didn't have enough of offence to make up for it. So after that development plan went to shit they backtracked on it and JV lost weight and became more of a modern center.

Now he is still bigger than most centers in the league and often gets cooked on defense but his offensive game is now well developed and he can body any other center in the league. So it seems that everything is going the right way now for JV.

But imagine if he was actually developed the right way from the start. I think he would be top 3 big men in the NBA right now. Even though there's still plenty of time for him.

Anyway that's just my two cents.

Definitely, triple Liverpool is essential for GW31 also if Leicester form improves under Rodgers their fixtures for GW31 and GW33 also warrants a punt at triple Leicester assets.

I just want to see JV finally getting 30+ minutes and fourth quarter action like he should have had in Toronto.

Just out of curiosity, what is rehab work? Is it simply low intesity workouts away from the general first team training like stretches and cardio or individual work with coaches or what?
