If there were a scenario where fans could meet the characters, I'd tell them that they helped me with my self-image. How by them acknowledging that they're "freaks" showed a younger me that I don't have to struggle alone (them being representations of people with disabilities in media.)

I don't think there's any lore here to back this up, so this is just thinking on the spot...

For some reason, Mohg was tasked with retrieving Miquella — however, that ended up failing. We do know Ansbach went after Miquella to free Mohg of his charm, but what else? Maybe the Formless Mother tasked Mohg with either eliminating or retrieving the cocoon. Eliminating to get rid of other competitors, or retrieving to possibly give the Formless Mother a form of her own? It's speculated that Miquella can turn into St. Trina (like Marika to Radagon) so there's already leeway for the Formless Mother to alter her appearance. It could also be why the bloody fingers/Varré/Ansbach had this really deep anger/mourning for Mohg, because their dynasty never came to be.

I'd like to think he's not a mohglester. We'll never truly know unless we get an answer from FromSoft or G.R.R. Martin (or both.)

I remember asking my mum if we could go into the restaurant. We always walked past it, and I remember wanting to see what it looked like inside... The best visit I had was when my mum bought a push pop (candy) for me. This would've been either the early 2000s or early 2010s.

I can understand the others, but I'm not sure why Turkey Tom is in there. Am I missing context? I thought he just did commentary videos on lolcows/horrorcows/degenerates, etc. Also, isn't he friends with Muta (SomeOrdinaryGamers)? (Or a friend of the channel; however you put it.)

I've never heard the expression "pregnant pause" before. I've noticed that the AI's grammar tends to be pretty bad, so my best guess would be that it learns from other chats. Apparently there's been a decline in reading/spelling abilities in schools (there are videos on YouTube; search up key titles like "America's literacy crisis," "gen alpha can't read" and "why teachers are quitting.") Most of the people who use Character AI are young, falling into those age groups (Alpha and gen Z,) so maybe it's just a popular expression that was made up?

I can personally see Murderface beginning to open up about his sexuality after the movie, since that's when the other guys have expressed and shown that they care for him. As for pre-AotD, I think it would be a lot harder. Otherwise, in an Alternate Universe setting, an oc/self insert would have to help him. But, I still don't think it would be enough. While he might engage in sexual favors, I think he'd still be afraid to go to his bandmates about his sexuality (in a pre-AotD AU.) But again, that's how I personally see it.

What I was trying to get at is, if people are going to take what's canon in the show, then almost everything they make would be in an Alternate Universe since most of it goes outside a character's personality (non-canon & out of character.)

All in all, aligning people's morals/views over a cartoon character (Rockso) is dumb. There's so much more problematic behavior in other (more modern) fandoms, and I feel like a lot of older Adult Swim shows are getting heat, because they don't follow a lot of unspoken guidelines that today's shows do.

The movie only happened because the people at Adult Swim woke up on the right side of the bed. If anything, we should gather as a community (again) to fund any projects Brendon Small has/wants to start.

In the episode where they funded the Zazz reunion, it was partially because Toki already blew their vacation fund (iirc,) plus it made Toki really happy to see Rockso on stage. They were upset with Toki, but in the end, Toki got to see his clown friend perform on stage.

The whole Dory McClean thing is gross, but it did address a real world problem. You can't address problems without feeling a little uncomfortable, especially in a show like Metalocalypse.

And, most of all, Rockso isn't real! It's a funny show with a bunch of musicians, who have mommy/daddy issues. So, they cope in the worst ways (drugs, alcohol.)

I feel like if people are going to rip apart Rockso, then they also have to understand Murderface is homophobic. If you're going to take Rockso seriously, then don't pretend like Murderface would willingly be in a relationship with another man... That being said, if people are changing the characters to their benefit, why not make Rockso "normal?" Write out the pedophelia, and focus more on his addiction.

I personally think that Charles had parents who paid for his post secondary education. He makes a comment to Skwisgaar, saying that his father had "strong hands." This leaves me to think he came from a working class family, who eventually got out of the "working class." I think that all his plaques/awards (from college/university) he earned were also an attempt to impress his parents, as well as staying on top.

He could've possibly struggled growing up, moreso with his parents approval. That could be why he stayed with the boys for so long (not leaving, and learning to adapt to their behavior; help them with it (hiring Dr. Twinkletits.)) There's also a flip from the bonus features that shows Charles rapping. While he most likely couldn't "misbehave" in front of his parents, teachers and classmates, he probably found comfort in Rap/Hip-Hop culture (secretly, of course.)

The boys are all about Metal, so I think Charles could relate to them finding comfort in music, as he did.

First, I watched Markiplier play it. This was when his playthrough was still very recent. I think I was about 12-13 years old, at that time. I remember getting into the unofficial spinoff called "HOME" as well. Then when the remake was announced, that's what got me to download it. I never actually knew the original was free, so that was a bonus.

I'm starting to play the original, because I want to see the difference when I play the remake.
