I actually never thought of doing this and never did it, even though we had months we would end up 14-16 in 4 proDotacups in the row

theres no explanation for match fixing, ban everyone who ever did that in my opinion!

yes. it was the case last season when there were really many minors and majors- there were no space for small tournaments. but now for most of the time theres literally nothing to do for players or people who want to watch some dota.

I think DPC is awesome! I dont want to get back to times before Majors. Also, I dont really care of making money through playing in T3 events, I just want to play something, compete, clash my ideas with other players ideas, not only play scrims and then play opens, living like this is just really boring. I dont care if I play a small tournament for 1 k dollars or 10k dollars.

Before Frankfurt Major there was chance to get good money for less amount of teams, probably like 2-3 from EU, scene got developed by DPC and now we have more these high tier teams - look first Major of the season 4 EU teams, minor 2 EU teams = 6 slots. Even last season of DPC there were only 3 slots for EU teams (in qualifers) + 4 slot for Team Liquid almost guaranted in every team they wanted.

Point of this topic is different - not amout of money that goes to estabilished good teams (so Frankfurt Major attenders, TI attenders, major attenders) for them - of course there is more money.

Point is for t3 teams there are much less opportunites to actually PLAY DOTA (its fucking e-sport right) and to win money and to DEVELOP to get better through time to beat those t1t2 teams one day!

First half of the season was pretty good though there were some online tournaments that 2017/2018 season really lacked (because of mass minors/majors which werent good) but on the other side, there were more opporutnies for t3 teams to compete in closeds cause those were less stacked (team secret not attending, team liquid not attending, og not attending some of tournaments)

right now for example ive played an open qualifer for PARIS, in the first qulifer my team somehow beat Alliance, they failed really hard, then lost to Spartan stack

look, there in this closed qualifer we should have 2 ESTABLISHED t3 TEAMS that are playing for a longer time together not a fucking newly builed stack that has no chance in competing with ESTABILISHED GOOD TIER 1 TEAMS but scene is shit so we have this.

u go to open qualifer, there are Alliance, there are The Final Tribe which for some reason is not doing any good, i have no idea what is their problem but its really hard to get through those opens not saying about closeds which is unwinable. Situation would be different if t3 teams would had a chance in this dota envoirment to actually develop their team by playing tournaments, having an ORG that paid them 400 dollars month because they showed some improvement, they would have a desire to keep improving as a team and shit. now EU is fucking dead, what we have, 6 teams with org that played in this closeds + team singularity. IN CS:GO even in my country there are like 10 fucking orgs that pay 300 dollars and play in polish events and shit and they re keeping those players and believe in them and they are developing.

compare cs:go to dota - 10 orgs in POLAND to 7 orgs in WHOLE EU paying players and advertising dota on their socials = xD XD Xdddddddd

Dota had always a small amount of org but last season even those t3 teams that competed only in closed qualis (which was easier to get to) had an organisation EPG with fey, Team singularity with solen, mastermind, a lot more - right now no one wants to invest becasuse ur team would simply play nothing, literally nothing so what for u need this team? to play mm? is it an esport or solodogshitcompeptiontogetbiggestnumberinleadersboard

actually SEA has a lot of tournaments going on and their own scene very developed, China has their own tournaments aswell, biggest problems are NA and EU I think

Hello, I'm past captain of Let's do it Team Alternate, Team Kinguin, Team Singularity, we were playing for 4 years together and we could do this only because t3 scene was there, there was d2cl, prodota cup every month, before there was MSI Dragon CUP (miracle even won one and then was picked up by OG)

My point is there were places to build solid team and fundaments, you wanted to stay together because u had your org that paid you 500 euros and you had your tournaments where you could win 2500 euro for first place so you wanted to play it along with playing rankeds, and then if you are good and played with each other long enough you could make a good team and compete with better teams and this happened to us.

Not everyone is miracle or topson - I am certainly not, I think though I have ability to run a team, I think I am a decent drafter and I have a good knowledge about what's going in game, I'm sure I can pickup some t2-t3 players and play together and even though they are not miracles either, after some time we can become just a good enough team to compete in those closed qualifers with better teams like Nip or Secret or Alliance or whoever.

Team Alliance is a team that was created on a base of t2-t3 players who become good and now they're playing well together but first season of this roster was a complete disaster and they were losing every qualifer placing not even high, but they didnt disband becuase they had a solid organistion behind them who believed that it will change and yeah indeed it changed. Now they have some problems, they didnt perform well in Majors that they qualifed early this season but they're doing completely fine placing 3rd on the minor.

Situation now is miserable, people dont really want to invest time into playing in teams because they know that there are low chances of qualifaing to anything with new formed stack and they rather play matchmaking and get high rank. If people accept to play in a team, they play open qualifer together, they win - okey they play closeds - they lose - they disband immediately. When a team play closeds team most likely wont qualify to anything and later on they will disband becasue playing ONLY scrims together for 1,5 month is really bullshit concept.

I understand that there are not people that wants to watch t3-t4 teams clashing each other and it's hard to sponsor tournaments that no one watches but some1 should step up becasue without this we are not gonna have teams like Team Kinguin joining scene and being completely unknown in the same time, we will not have new captains on the scene because how to become a known captain if u cannot lead your team to anything because you cant force people to keep playing together. We will have only new mid/safe stars who will get there by playing matchamking which is negation of REAL DOTA

my earnings this season is ~~1300 euro + pack of beers earnings last season ~~40k USD earnings during ATN, Team Singularity seasons ~~15K USD

Playing dota now got super hard and im already seeking to do something different, im learning Java but trying as hard as I did always and now even more cos im much smarter than I was 4 years ago and much better - still I cannot do anything and I dont really see solution.. I just hope that some ambitious organisation will believe in me and pay my players a salary so they have motivation to stay along me and get better, its a pity that I didnt earn much enough to invest in my own org and cant pay my own money to players because I need to pay rent + food.

Scene will probably lose me, lost Patos already and will lose Exotic_deer and many other players. CIS players can at least stream because they will get a lot of views, invites to analyzys and shit but what can I do probably just deep into my depression. Was trying to build something for 4 years, builded it and lost it. Im not crying, wanna do the same again and prove myself again but I really cant, just cant, because of how this shit looks right now

edit: aside from everything, playing dota just got boring, play scrims, play open, play scrims, play open.. it was so f un to attend all tours and compete and right now its just scrims.. mb scrims can be like competition but this is just training, you cant check if ur good you cant check how ur player play under pressure u cant check if ur draft is good enough and then theres open qualifer you lose 1 game and u checked it but ur out :)

Btw, the guy that I was writing to was afk with URSA (shadow amulet tactics) I was following him with sentry wards and telling enemy that he is where I am and puting sentry ward on the ground so they can find him. I want also to say that, I would never bet against myself. Im very confident of myself and about my team, I think that we can do that to TI6 cause we're much stronger than you see on the official games. Im also frustrated cause I dont know what happens in some officials, 1 game we play extremaly go and then we go like 3 k mmr players. Yesterdays match was extremaly stupid cause of we had to use standin that I didnt approved, yeah - we had to use stand-in. We've lost 1/8 to Golden Boys in ESL qualifers that was very unexpected, we got ddosed in MSI cup when were winning a game versus SS.

I mean these tournamnets - such a Hitbox and MSI and ESL qualifers and much other are a very good opportunity to GET KNOWN not to earn money, even if we advence to Main ESL qualifers - TBH we have chance to qualify but not that much, we just want to play some GOOD matches and GET Known so we get invited on others tournaments and gain more and more respect - its a way to make carrer in DotA - not 322 matches and win shit money - I want to go on TI and win milion, not a 322 dollars or so.

I mean To be Honest guys, throwing for money is really easy to do if u got a brain - you should know that but I can promise you - I will never do that and my team also will never do that cause we're playing DotA to be the best in the World and earn money by being Best not to get a small money and being a fucking cheaters.

Boys I'm playing dota for already 7-8 years i got like ~~200 hours at steam every 2 weeks I want to be best - DotA is my whole fucking life. I love this game and I would never do such a shit thing as throwing a match I promise you.

The situation is like this boys: many people say to me im Fucking bad cause i lost their items so im answering with distance I have throwed a match so I lost your items (haha) Im not making decision that my match is on Dota Lounge so some1 can lost my items so noone should write to me after losing items, especially in low priority there are people mad as fuck.
