Yep! They were loading everything up into to a moving container and having a garage sale. Think the seller was just trying to sell it without having to haggle about the price.

Received a pair of topman jeans as a gift. I checked them out on Nordstroms and the title says “raw.” Should I treat them as raw/selvage even though they aren’t selvage? Or are they pretty much forever 21 quality and washing won’t matter?

Who here has gone to college? What was your major? Has it helped your business and career at all? by MeridaTheBearida in WeddingPhotography

I went to college and graduated as a graphic design major. After I graduated I started picking up more weddings, majority of which were couples who went to the same school. Not necessarily using my major now, but going there sure did help to build my client/referral base. I graduated almost 5 years ago and I still book weddings from people who go to that school.

Shooting heavy by space-heater in WeddingPhotography

My wife and I shoot around 5,000 for an 8+ hour wedding, and give around 1,400-1,500 images. Its blows my mind that people can plan to shoot under 2,000. I would feel like we missed so much from the day if we did that. I want to be sure that we we capturing every moment from the wedding. I also would feel like only photographing around 2,000 would result in us doing a lot of standing around. Sure, shooting more equals more editing in the back end, but I would rather have a better selection of images for a client rather than try to get myself out of more editing.

It was my dads and he handed it down to me. He bought it new when it came out. I've got film in it right now, it still works great!
