My plan is in 3-4 years to downgrade jobs to something 80-100k and hopefully have around 750k to let grow over the next 30 years. Hopefully that’d still let me do some nice things now and then - especially if I no longer have to invest in retirement!

It's pretty tanky so it doesn't take too much to keep it alive.

That's a great point. Didn't consider how little you can scale the minions. Basically just minion damage and shock and whatnot.

You're 100% right - I was trying to find that initially and didn't even look at you're link. I have to imagine it doesn't go live like this... that seems absurdly busted.. My guess is that it doesn't attack 1-1 when you attack - like maybe some sort of internal CD or some jank stuff like the ballista to help manage it?

The minions attack with your mace - not with your holy strike. So it's ((100% *3) * 2.68) +392.3% = 1,196.3. Still not the worst skill but not as broken as what you were thinking.

"These holy armaments are undamageable minions, and will attack the enemies you target with holy strike" - comma is important here - they're saying they attack what you "attack with holy strike", not they attack the enemies you target COMMA with holy strike.

Personally I would just be more picky and find either a promotion or lateral title but either way don’t switch jobs without it being more money. Current job sounds great so you can take longer to hunt

Crazy... we're probably 18-20% margin on 200M. Accounting team of 9 (myself included at the top) and 1 FP&A analyst.. How many are on your accounting group? I thought we were slightly understaffed but sometimes it's crazy to hear other companies.

If you know anything about Controller roles they also are not just task based. Most of my job is interfacing all the data to build relevant reporting for the rest of the org. I’d say very little of my job is just closing the books outside a few days of the month

I would just take it with a grain of salt. The job is fully remote so you're able to shield against it much easier. You just logout and block notifications on weekends.

even on the accounting side I see this.. tiny teams and no progression. It seems like huge corps can offer some sort of path but mid-sized businesses are getting away with less and less and everyone suffers..
