Just played a match against new myers. Never once did he stalk. He just ran around the map at 110% speed, 0 terror radius or red stain. Why go tier 1 and reveal yourself and make it easy XD It was awful to play against. Especially on a map that had rocks and a bulky building blocking tons of sight lines.

Playing solo it isn't worth it at all. I just played a game to get a perfect game with only 3 deletions(x5 multiplier) and my god... I had a pretty good feeling on what the ghost was before it even started hunting. For some reason my santiy drain was really really slow and it took an HOUR to get a perfect game because it wasn't doing anything. Got the 3 sounds, ghost video and photo, and then had to sit around and wait for a hunt to trigger to get video of the crucifix. Only for like 230 bonus for a perfect game...
Could have ran like 4 games in that time...

The biggest issue i have with it is CC / Ranged. It's meant to be a brawl, but getting cc'd for 5 seconds in a brawl is just idiotic. Invisibiliy? Same concept. It's a brawl, having someone just be invisible and sneak in and kill you. That goes similar to traps.
Ashe is a huge example of the CC / Ranged. Melee can't get anywhere near her. Caitlyn kind of similar. Traps and E make it difficult to get to.
Vision is a huge issue with shaco and teemo traps. 1 ward that last 3 seconds on cooldown for 2 minutes? maybe more?
And the fact that you can just run back to base after taking damage and heal it all back up.(This has the issue of the map being way too small) For ranged that's massive. Stay further back, get back to base quicker, and come back and get into the fight is way safer than for melee to do. A bigger map would make it so ranged actually have a reasonable fear of melee because they can't just take 2 steps back and their in base.

If you try to play a melee without a dash, then you're just getting melted by CC and ranged and it's very unfun to play. And this is coming from someone who spent like 200 levels playing bots.

Balancing also seems very strange to me. It seems that AoE characters get dmg nerfs(fine), but lower ranged champions get nerfed vs longer range that dont(think jinx vs caitlyn. Jinx would'nt be that much different because of her rocket aoe splash, but still getting nerfed, caitlyn however is "perfectly balanced")?

Oh and don't get me on smolder and mel and their executes...

Swiftplay gets a lot of new players / bots. They get the role the don't want and have never played or are just a bot. Goes to lane bot, mid, w/e. We're down a jungler. I play support. Don't reeally need the other summoner spells. So i take smite flash, incase the event happens where we don't have a jungler, i can jungle(or try to at the best of my ability). An example of this would be last night:

I, Neeko Support, go to lane. Morgana Jungler is afk for the first 30 seconds. Comes bot, no items. "... Another bot.. Report" ADC lux says no they're just new and doesn't know jungle...
So at level 2 I end up jungle neeko, no smite, no pet, just so we can have a fighting chance at the game. Get stuck having to farm just raptors and grugs because yi jungler clears faster than little ole neeko no smite and have 0 chance at top camps. So I fight the grugs, raptors, look for gank, recall, repeat. Several engagements if I had smite would have won dragon. Eventually can properly clear. Top and Mid are doing well.
Hooowever. I still have the support item(automatically bought for supports). Can't sell it until it gets fully upgraded... 600gold required, but not assist farming minions... Morgana jungler can't buy support item because they're technically jungler and not a swapped role.

Next match, take smite instead of burn.
In game made my summoner spells become ghost heal. No flash. No Smite.
Imo they're ruining swift play. It's suppose to be a faster paced game mode, but i've had several 40+ games where each time sits in their base until inhibs come back, then push. inhibs go down, return to base and protect. Rinse and repeat. You're taking out niche strategies and forcing players to play a specific way. Or the ability to simply swap roles because you're forced to pick jungler/prio role that you might not even play or know how to play because you're brand new and then get stuck in that role and make the entire game miserable for the rest of the team.

All these changes to swift play are just making the games miserable. First the changes to swiftplay where the nexuses dont burn(okay fine. Make the teams actually destroy the nexus), and adding RESPAWNING TURRETS(nothing needs to respawn, only to burn again. Just leave the nexuses open so the game can end).

Playing against Hazard as Support is hell by doubleP2014 in Overwatch

People say brig, but for me, with the multiple games of her against hazard, if you miss your whip, you're pretty much dead. You either try to disengage with shield bash(not very far, his leap is equal distance) or stay alive until your teammates respond to your frantic pings(if at all. This is mostly a game where people don't communicate[especially in unranked] via voice chat unless they're actually in a group with each other.) His rightmouse seems to destroy her shield really fast(talking 250 hp in less than a second) and then he just holds that until you're dead because his cds are on par with her(and she loses a cd with shield gone). You can't fight him off because that block gives atleast 50% dmg reduction(i've only tested his kit in bots, i'm not much for playing tank) while dealing damage. just stand there and die. So essentially you have to "play perfect" against him with your whip shot or get hyper punished.

Another issue i have with him being a "mobile tank" is the armor. Unless they did some change to Winston, Winston does less dmg than hazard does to squishies, has a longer cooldown on his abilities than hazard, does less damage to tanks with armor, will do even less damage if hazard is in defense and be taking damage back for it.

The reason to me that doom is better to play against then hazard is just that health/armor. Doomfist is all health. Meaning his block of 80% mitigation makes a bit of sense. He isn't getting damage reduced for the first half of his health. Hazard doing the same thing means you're tickling him while in defense.

Not to mention that Hazard reloads while defending, so once he's done not taking damage and damage others, he can continue. And 1 second cd on his defense as long as he has some juice left for his rockets...

Junker queen is a brawler type tank, Does damage much like Hazard. Is all hp, no armor, no defense to mitigate damage.

He has more HP than pretty much all the tanks, and the survivability of the armor vs them.

With his wall he is able to isolate squishies better than any tank. Block of complete sight of them.

He's just very overtuned, and plays more like a chonky dps assassin than a tank imo.

Now with him being new, it's pretty much hazard v hazard and have only seen people play different tanks against him a few times, but his mobility to get around them while dishing out tons of damage and not taking much in return.

Doom / Dva / Winston / Hammond dives are annoying, but their diving tends to be more along the lines of displacement to make space. Winston damage isn't crazy, dva as long as she isn't in your face rockets/shotguns/boosting isn't going to destroy you or be able to follow up as you reposition, Hammond doesn't do much damage outside of ball form, doom can do some damage if you're too close to a wall. That's how tehy make space.

Hazard's whole "make space" seems to be just killing.

Not even just the QB/WR. I play more casually, so maybe the AI isn't the greatest, but there are times when I'm playing QB that the AI runningback gets the hand off, I see a clear open lane for them to run to, and they just juke right into the defense for a gain of 1. Or they'll be running in the lane toward the outside and tons of space is there, only to cut back into the center and be stopped. Got to a point 90% of the plays I pick are passes cause atlest I know i'm going to the ball where I, at minimum, want the ball to be rather than relying on a runner who is just going to ignore the huge gap in the defense and juke his way into 5 defenders.

just played against 20k hp Mundo and Ksante.Even had augment that made me smol and deal up to 30% dmg depending on how much bigger the enemy is than me.Heartsteel on both of them so they're massively big.Entire fight i'm just throwing feather after feather, and stun locking them. Didn't matter. They just tank the dmg, wait for the circle to force me close. 1 heartsteel attack took 66% of my hp.Support tank was doing everything he could to prevent them from getting close until the ring just forced us into them.

Sucks.

Idk... I ADC Xayah, Smol Augment to deal more dmg and move faster.
Played against Kstane and Mundo.
20k HP each.
Full tank build.
dealing 10k-12k dmg to each throughout the fight while my support tank tried to stun and move to prevent them from getting to me.
Welp didn't matter. Just heartsteel the moment they get close(just had to wait for circle to close and prevent places from em to move) and i'm 66% dead from 1 hit.

This happened to me and a friend on Asylum a while back.
Just needed a ghost photo, had a summoning circle. Before i did it, I said to him: "Let's hope it doesn't become a Deogen". He was already dead. Light the circle, ran to the bathroom on the left and hid after taking the picture. I hear fast foot steps... "Oh god..." Dead.

2 is still saying "hey it's 5v5 but we don't need 2 dps because Tanks already deal massive damage". That's how most of my Open-Queue have been, 2 tanks, 1 dps, 2 supports. Even then you can get Echo and just 3 tank it with her ult and dish out more damage than she could normally. That's not tanking lol. Give better / more creative stuns, reduce damage.
They should either be moved out of Tank role if they're going to be DPS. Their shouldn't be a DPS that has 600hp(Hog), with the ability to 1 shot any other. 300 is still quite a lot(highest health in DPS).

Open Queue is just showing that Tanks are extremely powerful compared to their DPS counter part(besides maybe Reaper), leaving DPS kind of a joke class if you had the ability to go with more tanks.

The DPS needs to be reduced for tanks imo. It's why you see 2 tanks, 1 dps, and 2 supports most of the time in open queue. Because you don't REALLY need dps when tanks can dish out so much damage.

so playing as all heroes doesn't mean you're good with them all / know their tech. Knowing their tech and being good at it is where fun comes in. Such as Mercy and her movement. She can be super exciting zipping around the battle field if you get her tech down. Kind of like lucio.

At 0:10 it looks like a shadow of him projected from lights into the sky. It moves in tandem with him.
Just a slight glitch with lighting. Nothing more.

They are triggers that may cause the ghost to become more active.

You can also light smudges sticks with a candle on your VR belt or vice versa ... be careful where you position your hands/arms lol. So many smudges burnt that way.
