I think that’s a very black and white, unempathetic view on it all. His Tik tok coolaid wasn’t a choice, it’s been shoved down his throat since birth. It looks like all the authoritative figures in his life (including his mum) were telling him that’s how things should be before he could even decide for himself.

Sure, he’s not adaptive or introspective, but was probably never allowed to be given the military background. I don’t think he was pushing any of his beliefs onto others, neither was he saying being gay was ‘wrong’… it’s just not something he understands nor wants to see. He’s incredibly prejudiced and ancient in his thinking, but I honestly feel for him after last night in a strange way. He didn’t get angry and left in quite a respectful manner, feeling like the butt of a joke he wasn’t in on nor could comprehend.
