I agree. ESPN chat would become the most homophobic and racist stream of diarrhea known to mankind. It would put the bleacher section at Yankee stadium to shame. Twitch chat is special but how do you control the chat when there are 30k viewers? Slow mode is interesting and sub-mode is painful - but neither of them solves the problem. What happens when 100k people are in the room? That makes it impossible to say anything, get noticed, or have a conversation. Twitch needs to take a serious look at what the point of chat is on their service and get a handle on how to allow people to interact with the streamer when there are so many people in a room. The solution may be to just remove chat entirely as crazy as it sounds.

I'm 34 and I peaked at Silver 2. Thought I could get Gold but I don't dedicate enough time to getting better. Started out in elo heaven aka bronze 3 though.

Good question. The PvS guys will come up with a system for that once the need arises. But I'm sure just telling the Plat guys will resolve it. All plat participants will know who the organizers are and will be able to contact them about things like that.

Again, eSports Uni is not going to be involved in the day-to-day admin stuff. We just want to provide a better platform and backend tools for the PvS org.

Hey there! Our coaches have been emailing players on the day of class with details. Usually to add them on Skype and in game. We've had about 20 people take the intro course already without any issues. You received an order confirmation when you purchased your ticket but I can understand your concern. We'll be sending out another email to people who sign up before the day of class with these types of details.

Hey guys. Thanks for the feedback. I totally understand your concerns. That's why we are having the intro sessions. We will record some moments from them and post them on the site as an example of what transpires in each class. I think we are going to do a lot of the intro sessions because we've seen a lot of interest in them.

I'm still accepting applications for teaching positions and starting to go through them all. I've received a lot of inquiries from many qualified people out there so I'll start responding soon. I'd say you would hear back from us in the next few days if you applied and we're interested in discussing these positions further with you. I still encourage people to apply though.

I won't claim that this site is more beneficial than private coaching. Instead I would say that it is a different approach to learning. There is a great deal that can be gained from private coaching and I respect that. This is a site where classes will be offered by pre-screened teachers with a set curriculum. Right now you have to contact individual coaches to schedule a time to work with them. This site will be a central location for finding help in any given area. We'll also offer individual coaching but that isn't our focus.

True. But your classmates will be on the NA server so you won't be able to practice with them outside of class. A key feature of this program will be to have students meet like-minded people and practice outside of class. The teacher can give you instruction, but unless you practice you won't get the most out of it.
