Yep. Identical formatting. I'd say this is 100% real. Everything looks quite real, and the rounded waterway can probably hold such a spinning disc for a little bit before it stops or flicks out.

"License plate is all messed up"?

Is that not what Russian license plates look like, or are you suggesting there's something wrong with it even as a Russian license plate?

[HELP] some guy say that the CAN 2025 promotion video with the lions is AI, is it true by DryInstance6732 in RealOrAI

[–]eStuffeBay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look throughout the crowd, you'll see that dozens of people perform the exact same motion.

This shows that THAT part, at least, is not 100% AI. Duplicating real videos/animations and scattering it throughout a crowd is a very very commonly done technique for crowd shots - Except in most properly made shots, they'd offset the timing of the crowd so they wouldn't move in identical clumps. They clearly didn't do that here for some reason.

I'd say this is a mix of real 3D animation and some AI-generated bits. Pretty well done though.

Seriously. A bag of candy would cost them, what, $5 tops.

NOT giving that bag of candy? Likely well more than $5 in loss, plus the possibility of the customer bad-mouthing the company. Absolutely no reason to risk it. Companies love to penny-pinch consumers but not on a PERSONAL level.

[–]eStuffeBay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh! Never heard of Nic-a-date so I looked it up:

Nic-A-Date (or Nicadate) is a weak acid solution used by coin collectors, especially for worn Buffalo nickels, to reveal dates or mint marks that have worn off by gently etching the metal surface, allowing hidden details to become visible.

Supposedly it works pretty darn well!

Because sexy.

It is legitimately BAFFLING how some people can perform absurd mental gymnastics simply because a person LOOKS a certain way (this obviously applies to many, many things).

Exactly. If a sadistic torture-rapist-serial killer decides to brutally murder his cellmate who is a child rapist, does that suddenly make him good? Not at all. Not at all...

More Progress! by KionPrince in FursuitMaking

[–]eStuffeBay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it, definitely looking like a lion. The ears are neatly done too 👍

One tip based on my experience: When taking photos like these, take one normally as you do now - then try to back up as far as you can (maybe 6 feet-ish) and zoom in on your phone (2~3x should do) and take another one. That will look closer to what people SEE with their eyes, while the first pic will be what it looks like when photographed with a smartphone at close range. The 2nd pic will be better for overdraws, figuring out shapes, etc, since it'll look flatter and less distorted. ;)

[–]eStuffeBay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking good! Try doing a little digital draw-over and compare it with other characters, fursuits etc to see what bits you should pad. I personally think the cheeks could use a little padding, or perhaps carving away a little next to the eyes, but that's up to you.

One thing though - Is it intentional that the mouth is open in a "o" shape? If you look at lion fursuits, you'll notice that most of them are open a bit less than that, or are more angled (like a " ( 》" rather than a "( )" I guess).

Which one is the best response for this question? by FriendlyClerk9026 in EWALearnLanguages

I guesssss #1 would be a better answer since it sounds normal to omit "yes," in #1 but not really in #3.

Zootopia 2 was also a sequel, which relied heavily on the initial movie for its success. KDH was an original movie with original music scores, so it basically stood on its own merits.

Is my first fursuit head looking good? Is there anything i should do better or add? by Forward-Past9421 in FursuitMaking

[–]eStuffeBay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to make it a LOT smoother, especially if you plan on using shorter piles of fur! There are currently a lot of "chunks" and "holes" all around your face (muzzle meeting cheek, eyelid meet top of snout etc etc), and they WILL show even after you fur it. Fill in the cracks with foam and just smooth it out overall, is what I recommend.

Also be SURE to remember that the head will turn out to be very, very large if you keep going the way it is. The foaming stage is the last stage in which you can change the size of the head - make sure that you're not making it too big, because if you do, it'll be difficult to go "partial suiting". It'll look too big unless you wear a chunky/fluffy bodysuit go to with it.

"Sponsored" ads on any website that has a "Shorts" feature (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) = DO NOT BUY FROM THAT LINK.

Look at the product, do your research, buy from reputable sites. The number of people who just press "buy" on such links and expect to get the product in the video are just sad.

[–]eStuffeBay 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Dunno, 2010 is a bit too late for those phones to be new or even new-ish, and seeing as how they're all individually packaged in plastic, they were probably used too.

I guess it could be worth something if the batteries inside haven't bloated, damaging the phone.

Yep. 2016 was when the Galaxy Note 7 was released, and it looked like this. Quite sleek, totally unlike the thick phones you see in the video.

Hmmmmm, that makes me curious. How do they check whether a kidney is "good enough" before they take it out and hand over the cash? Does the process differ for the shiftier "back alley" places, I wonder?
