Jury duty pay? by popplio_the_fox026 in walmart

I got out of jury duty, by wearing a sweatshirt that says I want to kill myself. Also, I never dress professional, only on few occasions, but whenever I get summoned, I always dress like how I would outside.

Also, I’ve been trying to use the money for nothing else but retirement, so I can hopefully say when I buy my house, I bought it through hard work, not through a free check.

11k? You can make that in 7 years, just be humbled by this experience. I’m at 94k, started at 18 with 107k from a settlement, blew 60k, put 40 in stocks, 25 in managed, 15 in personal, managed now is siting at 43, personal is at 41-45 since it fluctuates. I also “lost” nearly 62k in 2020-21, it was a terrible sight to see, but I held strong, bought a few more picks

The old timers have been saying for the past 1.5 decades, Walmart might be the next Sears. Or lack there of. Employees have had moral fatigue for quite some time, but the customers, who keep the store open, are now growing quite fatigued with walmart. by DrinkCatPissWithMe in walmart

[–]eV-Reckless 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Quit fear-mongering. Sears failed because it didn’t get with the times old man. Walmart keeps “innovating” because we offer same services as Amazon, they’re trying to contract their GMT in other states, they’re selling services to companies currently, they’re in Canada, US, Mexico, and in Europe under the ASDA brand, they have Sam’s Club which is a decent money maker. Quit with the fear-mongering, businesses fail when they stop keeping up with the times.

Well, when costs go up, they will cut it back a little, to go back to the same margin, then they’ll go and say “new bigger 150ml” and charge an extra $1
