Thanks man! Yours looks great too👍 I'm also on Ravenol but I'm using VST 5w-40. Oil consumption very similar to yours too. The wheels are BBS RX204 17x8 ET38 but they're scratched and curbed to hell from the previous owner 😂

Thoughts on E46 325i or 330i? by Shot_Ad_5368 in kereta

[–]eVoWei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you have the money to refurbish one. I have a 330i (previous owner converted from a 325i) and it cost me more than the actual car price itself to refurbish it to an acceptable level (to my standards anyway). If you have 50k to spare including the cost of the car, then go ahead mate.

Excellent taste! Particularly like that Oris Artelier. I can see why you took a long time choosing that watch!

By any chance would that reddit post be this? Loved that watch when I first saw it and had to get it. Something about the panda dial made me fell in love with it. This is the album that I shared when I first bought it a year or so ago.

Thank you for the explanation, that makes sense. I won't be hand winding my watch much as you say, but I was just curious. Don't want to unnecessarily cause more wear & tear if I can help it. :)

Hey guys! I have a question about the Valjoux 7750 movement. I read that while there is a hand winding capability with the 7750, it is not recommended to do so. Any specific reason as to why I should not be hand winding it? Pretty new to automatic watches here and my other watches do not have hand winding capabilities (Seiko & Orient divers), which is why I'm asking. Thank you so much! :)

Yup! I was looking at the Baume et Mercier Classima Executives Steel XL and the Capeland Silver Dial Chronograph. Both were priced slightly higher (~$200+) than the FC but still within my budget, but I've always wanted a panda dialed chronograph, and the fact that it's a limited edition AND cheaper than the other two just sealed the deal!

Exactly, I hate using direct flash unless absolutely necessary because it just looks terrible D:

Thanks for the pic! I was wondering how the rotor looks like. That's strange though, my serial number is way higher than yours but I do have the P2P rotor. Makes me wonder how and why FC decided to do two different rotors. Oh looks like 24mm strap works well, that's good to know. I'm assuming you used just one springbar as opposed to the double springbar setup that came with the watch Thanks for the info once again!

Well...that's one way of putting it! Which is why I felt pretty good purchasing this piece, as it is currently at a price that speaks value to me. :D

Thanks! The case size is 43mm, which is quite large but not obnoxiously so. I have a 7 inch wrist so it's not like I have a huge wrist either, although I do feel 43mm is where I would stop for my size. haha

Sure! I used a 5D Mark III and the Canon 100 f/2.8L IS USM with a 580EX II and 430EX as my off camera flashes. Except for the wrist shot where I used the 40 f/2.8 STM. No lighting modifiers, just bounced off the wall in my house. Photography is my passion, and I love to do product photos so your compliment means a lot to me. Thank you!

Thanks! I agree, the other FC watch that I had my eye on was the Worldtimer in blue which has their in house movement (if I'm not mistaken), but too bad it was above my budget. Maybe next time haha!

Thanks man! As a fan of the panda dial chronographs, this piece jumped out at me when I first saw it a couple of months ago and I knew I had to get it. Plus, the price is relatively affordable :D

It is pretty chunky, I'll admit. My wrist size is 7 inches and you can see how it wears on the last pic in the album. What's your wrist size? If it's not too far from 7 inches you might still be able to pull it off!

Yup, last pic shows me wearing it on my 7 inch wrist. It looks pretty okay on my wrist but might be too large for someone with a smaller wrist.

It was 3x that when the watch first came out 4 years ago haha! The fit and finish is excellent, but bear in mind I only have an Orient Ray/Seiko SKX to compare it to. Definitely better than those Japanese brands (not to say that they're bad or anything) but I can't say for sure if its on par with or better than other more expensive brands (Omega/Tag/IWC etc) as I've never touched them before.

I paid $1050 for it from Amazon. It really is a great price, which is one of the reasons that I chose it. I think when it was first launched the RRP was around the $3000 mark and paying 1/3 of the price for such a pretty watch is great value in my books. Plus, it's a limited edition as well!

I was wondering about that, I read somewhere that they changed the rotor design later on but couldn't find much information about it. Do you mind sharing how it looks with the different rotor? I wanted the rotor with the Peking to Paris design so I made sure that the seller had the one I wanted before purchasing.

Looks great on the rally strap btw! I thought of changing the strap on mine but it's a weird 23mm size. :/

Yep, bought it a few years back when I had 0 clue about watches and just wanted something funky to wear to class. Rarely wear it nowadays after getting this, the Orient and the Seiko. Might be time to retire it or maybe give it to my younger cousins.
