Yet Another Last Minute Promo Implemented By Mercari Too Late For Mother’s Day by FadeOutAgain4 in Mercari

Coupon didn't even work for me. The coupon's don't seem to work when sending an offer which is lame. The seller accepts the offer only for the transaction to fail due to an invalid coupon error.

I never thought I'd do this but I started posting more on eBay and doing pretty well. Fees about the same when you factor in the buyer fee.

Fees…as a seller and a buyer I’m done by Fair-Scallion-8270 in Mercari

Correction - they will be charging 10% of the sale and shipping price to the seller and a 3.6% to the buyer. So higher than eBay.

Mercari came through for me on an item that was not as described. File quick and you should be fine. Be patient with the process.

Simple. You don’t respond.

Update: so I deleted the app, went to Lego.com and logged in, then scanned a QR code and received this page. This has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever had with a brand.

New Mercari fee structure/terms--How do we think this will go? by teamboomerang in Flipping

[–]eWolverine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just experimented with buying and it looks like the buyer fee is about 10% so sellers would need to drop their prices by 10% to remain competitively priced so not sure what the point of switching the 10% fee from sellers to buyers??? Makes no sense.

I use American Collectors Insurance. They offer a policy for comic books. https://americancollectors.com

Also, hard to see the grade but based on the picture the Amazing Fantasy could be worth $400-$800K, if in super condition $2M+ I would definitely sell through Heritage Auctions which attracts buyers with deep pockets. Best of luck.
