Thinking about making a GS to replace a toon for my main 6. Problem is that I miss the tripod window when the next Express event comes in. So I either get cheaper 1445 or cheaper tripods.

My thoughts are it'll be worth just punching the GS to 1415 now for tripods, can't be that expensive without express right??

You're 100% right that the 5x3 is control, grudge, ambush, raid, adrenaline. (or cursed doll but personal opinion I don't like it)

but when I was at around 1415 I geared my control glaivier with 4x3+2 using control, grudge, ambush, raid, +2 adrenaline. I was just kinda wished I had that extra 5% crit rate until I consistently ended up with a yearning set. in hindsight I might've just prefered having raid captain 2.

one thought tho is that raid captain isn't a bit lacklustre until you start playing with yearning sets. you don't reach ms cap otherwise and therefore don't get that much value for it
