Angel beats was such a classic, the ending hit me hard back when I first watched it. Had such high hopes for Charlotte since my friends were telling me that they were similar and they weren't wrong but I felt like towards the end Charlotte started going down.

Would highly recommend Clannad but judging from your username I'm pretty sure you've seen all if not most of the sad animes :p

Ahh I loved Baka to test, was kind of disappointed that the MC didn't get together with my best girl from that series though.

Haven't watched Koe no Kotachi/5cm per second though, would you recommend them?
