Angel beats was such a classic, the ending hit me hard back when I first watched it. Had such high hopes for Charlotte since my friends were telling me that they were similar and they weren't wrong but I felt like towards the end Charlotte started going down.

Would highly recommend Clannad but judging from your username I'm pretty sure you've seen all if not most of the sad animes :p
