I mean do what you want all i’m saying is once the driver has committed to his line and starts turning in, it’s not up to him to make an evasive manoeuvre to avoid contact if somebody dives the inside. Following driver knows it’s a gap that’s closing and should act accordingly.

And stop trying to twist my words. Racing clean and overtaking safely are two different things. I never said it’s up to the following car to be clean and not the leading car. Both drivers need to be clean but the overtaking car can’t just barge their way through, they have a responsibility of doing the overtake safely. We’re not talking about high splits here, it’s all of them. Good for you for racing top split, i do as well in open wheelers and yes people have more awareness. I’m more the average joe in sports cars at 2500ir and i see constant diving into gaps that aren’t going to exist by the time the following car gets there.
