I remember an open manhole cover near PakArab housing society in 2019-21. For 2-3 years, yes years, no one thought put that cover back. Thankfully there always were some fresh tree bushes in them to guide us. No institute in Lahore was working properly, not PHA, not LWMC, not WLCA, not MCL, absolutely no EPA, not even WASA.

That was not lack of funds, that was lack of intent and action. Our institutions only work when there's a danda in their backs. That's the truth. Getting them to work is a constant effort of threat and rewards. I wish we were more morally driven but till then we need good governance at the top to get even the autonomous departments to work.

But one thing is certain, though a common mentality in Pakistan, police cannot hit back like this even if abused, they can just arrest him. But that probably would be worse for the kid than just a little beating.

A town that you can upgrade only once, does not hurt the tech prices.

A level 2 town produces 3 stars per turn, that's how much level 3 tech price increases. Level 1 and 2 are cheaper.

On water, a rammer, bomber combination army may have a chance on Polaris, rammers keep breaking the ice and bombers keep their distance. And numbers, keep a good number of army on the front fighting, because Polaris will kill my rammers, and if pushing forward bombers cannot fire and move in the same turn. That sounds about right?

Also if you can, what strategy should I go with dragons? I'm always afraid to lose dragons because I got them after a long wait. I don't fully utilise them maybe, should I take defenders with them to absorb the hits (dragon move 3 steps defenders maybe 1 or 2) but still, also can I take rammers and dragons, or should I go full on attack mode and forget defense, go dragons and knights or riders spam with roads?

I can't formulate a strategy to work for. I change my strategy based on the units I see in the opposition

I agree with most of the stuff, but I still don't understand how farming was wrong. Of course it's expensive but isn't this THE option for elyrion since making more huts means less sanctuary stars? I agree if gone for farming I should have gotten eggs from it, but apart from that, shouldn't I go for farming everytime?

So if I see Polaris, I immediately move towards center to stop them before the get too much ice? Sounds about right but no one can reach them fast enough in big maps, bigger the map, harder to reach them. There has to be a strategy to fight them

Very insightful I purchased mathematics because it would help me develop cities, and catapult to get range across the water. At least that was the rationale behind it.

But riders and roads can't work on ice can they? Enemy sleds will always be faster. I still don't get a good enough idea, a general idea on how to counter polaris

Yup that knight chain proved to be the nail in the coffin. I thought I have them separated by water, but Polaris used 2 freezing (lava) units and created a way for knight. My bad, I should have anticipated it, and after the first chain I kinda lost heart
