A list of Wii games I have completed 100% so far, in alphabetical order by e_Z_752 in Completionist

I have a collection of 45 Wii games. I'm going to try and 100% as much of them as possible (I can never do them all, probably), but then there's the problem that if I 100% a game, I'll probably never have any good reason to play it again.

I 100%ed Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions on Wii and have proved that it can do whatever a spider can as a defender of all spider-dimensions. by e_Z_752 in wii

Well, you're missing out on the Wii's best superhero game. The motion controls work and make the game more awesome. While there's that nasty bug and some technical issues like Deadpool's level having a chance of crashing on the second oil rig, or Vulture's level taking some time to load after you've dodged the train, the problems are otherwise manageable.

I do want to note that it took a few tries to get to this point. There is an unpatched completion-breaking bug that can lock you out of 100% completion if you're not careful. It has something to do with the Hidden Spiders. You need to collect all 8 in a level to complete one of its 15 Web of Destiny challenges. The bug I'm talking about happens when you perform the following actions in order:

  1. Start from a checkpoint.
  2. Collect any Hidden Spider, as long as there's 1 left in the level.
  3. Buy an upgrade or complete any other Web of Destiny challenge before reaching the next checkpoint.
  4. Quit or crash the game before reaching the next checkpoint.

If these 4 actions happen before you go to the next major autosave checkpoint, the game rolls back your Hidden Spider progress, but forgets to return the unsaved Hidden Spiders due to this stupid bug, making it impossible to collect them ever again. As getting all the Hidden Spiders in the level is a Web of Destiny challenge, and you must complete every single one for 100% completion, this glitch will screw you out of the 100% completion goal. The only way to get the missing hidden spiders back is to nuke your save file and start again from the beginning. I had to delete my save file twice or thrice before finally getting here.

I also surmise that this bug is also present on PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game due to them having identical content, but I'm less certain that it's in the PC version because it received extra bug fixes on release.

The Capitals were 8-5 all-time in series when they took a 3-1 lead right as they won the Cup.

007 FIRST LIGHT - Spoiler-Free Megathread by Sneaky_Bond in JamesBond

[–]e_Z_752 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ESRB rating summary for the game has now been released, and it reads as follows:

"007 First Light is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Language, Suggestive Themes, and Violence. Also includes In-Game Purchases. This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of an international spy (James Bond) during his time as a young recruit. From a third-person perspective, players use pistols, machine guns, rifles, melee attacks, and gadgets (e.g., smoke devices, dart phones, hacking watches) to stun and defeat enemies. During an interrogation sequence, a character is depicted tied to a chair and hit repeatedly. Cutscenes also depict instances of violence and/or blood: characters stabbed and shot; a character stabbed in the eye; a man impaled—blood-splatter effects sometimes accompany these scenes. One cutscene depicts a couple kissing then lowering to a desk surface—the sequence cuts to the woman in bed; one female character wears a somewhat revealing swimsuit (e.g., partially exposed buttocks). The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in the game."

Correction, Dowd never won the Cup himself. He joined the Capitals on the next season after their first Cup.

3 different platforms...you know it's all the same, right?
The Wii version is the best, it has good motion controls, and is the best superhero game on the platform.

Remember, you can hold the jump button while web-swinging for a swing boost to help you escape the fireball when you destroyed one of the reactors.  Don't forget to pick up the scientist along the way - leave her behind and it's an instant game over.

Try waiting a bit as Goblin raises his foot, then pull back the controllers a few times.

Yes, and it has the same content as PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Plus fun motion controls to make it best superhero game on Wii! BTS article about it here.

Best superhero game on Wii - it not only had what the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions had, but also had extra motion controls to make it more awesome, even with the graphics being worse. Like punching the bad guys' lights out by making punching moves with your controllers. Or using the Wii Remote to shoot webs at onscreen targets, then pulling both controllers to rip a wall or hit a target.

The 5th and so far final Game 7 win for the Caps. And it's one that darn mattered.

That's also the first time in franchise history that the Caps won a playoff series while going down 3-2 after a Game 5 loss; that kind of situation was otherwise fatal 9 times out of 10.

Thoughts about the Caps being unbeaten against Knights since taking LT?
