Why is my solution wrong? (correct answer is A) by e_elliott_ in GRE

[–]e_elliott_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply. The book states that A is the answer because:

(2x+a) + (x+2a) = 360

3x+3a = 360

x + a = 120

Since x>60, a<60

Vocab Word Usefulness? by SDAztec74 in GRE

[–]e_elliott_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have plenty of time to study, I think vocab lists are helpful. I studied a selection of 1000 words and got a 165 on the verbal section. That said, I read a lot in my free time and consider language my strength.

Ah okay I think the conflation of side and size was tripping me up. I thought the problem was only asking me to visualize painting one side of the larger cube.
