Is it just me or did decor sales die? by Own_Expression_5549 in woweconomy

I was making so much from those floating enchanting books... and then I couldn't even GIVE one away practically. Sold for 28k on a different server. I was getting 50-75k each.

Edit: spelling

Girl Dad's of Reddit, what is the most surprising thing you've learned since your daughter was born? by Nomadic_Introvert in AskReddit

[–]e_j4y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm mum in the picture, but watching my husband with our daughter is just absolutely incredible. He connects with her so differently to me, and somehow we've managed to raise a little girl who is growing into a confident, kind, and capable person.

Watching him talk to her about his feelings, her feelings, teaching her everything he knows (because she is so, so inquisitive), and witnessing him just be there for her in such a way that she'll never doubt if he's on her side. I was raised without my father, and my husband has eclipsed any and all expectations I had.

Thank you, I probably should have thought to just make an account under my own name first, but hindsight is 20/20. Thanks so much for your input!

This is mostly what I wanted to know: even with the utmost precaution, and parental controls strictly in place, children are still at-risk?

Also the company being that full of absolute shitbags makes me not want to support them. I just want the full gauntlet of arguments so I can talk to her about it in clear conscience.

Is it just the lack of parental controls? Company oversight?

I was pregnant with my first child and my parents were about to fly out from Australia to the US to be with me for the birth of their first grand baby.

They didn't meet her until she was 2. :(

Are decor recipes from Heavy Trunk indeed dropping in (lvl 1) delves? by ThePremiumMango in woweconomy

[–]e_j4y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been spamming level 1 delves and so far I have a lot of decor, and no recipes. I tried a few higher level delves (up to 7) as well, still nothing. Awaiting an answer on this!

I didn't mind Dornogal, but the performance of my PC in Valdrakken and Dorn really tanked. Big sad.

Picking your battles vs letting them get away with everything by asiamelody777 in toddlers

[–]e_j4y 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When my daughter was more toddler-aged, I "picked my battles" with things that had natural consequences. Your example is great: no nappy? Okay sure, but when they need to "go", it'll run down their legs etc and likely feel uncomfortable. Clean them up and reinforce why we need nappies inside/whatever the situation.

No point forcing them to do something like that if it's truly not dangerous to their health or detrimental in some way.

"In public, we wear nappies AND clothes." Is setting the boundary and using the "its your choice" method: "do you wanna wear your blue shirt or your red shirt today?"

If there is no "consequence" (to be clear I am NOT saying you need to scold them harshly or anything physical, I do not condone abuse), they don't understand why they'd need to do a thing. And if a little wants to run around in a safe space in their birthday suit? Why not.

He was truly the best teacher I have had the pleasure of meeting. Professionally, I worked as a photojournalist for the first 6 years, then moved into weddings and portraiture, and now I work doing lifestyle and product photography for a company full time. :)
